Developed overall strategy for founder community engagement and valuable cross-portfolio connection as part of a newly instated company team offering expert operational support for 500+ founders.

- Oversee all community engagement for approximately 300 pre seed, seed and scale up companies

Head of Community

Reported directly to the CEO & developed overall company strategy with senior directors and ensured content portfolio direction was aligned with commercial team goals, whilst protecting editorial integrity, relevance and quality.
- Oversight across the curation, growth and scaling of 4 key SM content-driven products, encompassing 14 Conferences (in UK and US), 80 Courses, alongside with our Sponsorship Delivery and Event Planning and Production Teams. 
- Managed and set strategic priorities for 14 members of staff across 6 cross-vertical teams.
- Developed effective content campaigns with the Head of Sales and Marketing around key milestones to drive audience growth, repeat impressions and deeper relationships with the tech community.

Head of Content Portfolio & Delivery

Co-directed the Content Portfolio Team. Reported directly to CEO. Managing two teams across our international portfolio of Conferences and brand new content product - xMatter Keynote Evening events.

Product Manager

Managed and mentored a team of conference producers, oversight over the day-to-day event production and conference portfolio strategy. Heavily involved in crafting and sustaining the direction of overall company content production.

Skills Matter's portfolio of conference events, attracting over 5000 delegates per annum, spanning 15+ specialist technology interest areas and generating £1M YoY revenue from ticket sales since Nov 2015. 

- Maintained responsibility for the successful team execution of every stage of event-­creation and logistics, from conception and speaker invitation right through to execution, both at our 23,000 sq ft company venue CodeNode and other London locations. 

- Developed and maintained relationships with more than 300 expert speakers across the 12 month event calendar, including many VIPs within the software engineering community, ensuring consistent corporate tone and on-­brand messaging at all times. 

- Experienced in managing physical and virtual teams: steers the direction of discussions with specific event programme committees with external stakeholders and leading weekly face-­to-­face meetings and setting the direction all offline communications. 

- Worked directly with the Marketing and Graphic Design teams in developing and executing conference marketing strategies, spanning social media campaigns and active on-­the-­ground research. 

- Liaised with third party vendors and suppliers, coordinating with internal logistic teams, and developing new processes and practices for smooth operations.

- Oversight over annual budgets upward of £500K, maximising efficient spend across venue hire, catering, branding and staffing. 

- Maintained tight and clear communication between sales and content production for effective revenue and lead generation.

Team Lead & Senior Conference Producer

Managed all Southeast Asian and related incoming and outgoing roadshows, events and bespoke trips. 
Worked with the regional equity sales and research offices in effort to generate and execute corporate access ideas such as corporate roadshows to the UK and US and institutional investors from abroad heading to SEA to meet with corporates. Also worked with the International Markets team to produce and execute EMEA related events incoming to Singapore, including those involving the Global Emerging Markets leaders. 
There was also active interaction with the local and regional corporate company representatives and the institutional investors to work on providing them tailored access. Involved in the planning and execution of wide scale events such as our annual ASEAN Stars Conference drawing hundreds of corporate and investor attendees alike.
