My mission is to ensure women have equal opportunities to reach their full potential. My goal is that our next generations of women will face fewer obstacles, personally and professionally. I work with leaders to create professional environments where women (and men) will thrive, and do this thru authentic leadership, dedication to excellence, commitment to my work, and relentless passion for helping others be their best... I love to lead dynamic and committed teams. ------- Coaching others to win is in my blood. My father was a professional soccer coach, and at a very young age I can remember the thrill of him pushing me and others to be their best. I wanted to pass on that gift of high expectations. Not surprisingly, during college I supplemented my time and income by coaching! Our co-ed cheerleading team won the national championship title in 2002, the highlight of my coaching career. Upon graduation I started my career with Northwestern Mutual, not knowing the twists and turns that journey would take me on, but knowing without a shadow of a doubt that leadership was where I wanted to be. As the first female Development Officer in our company's history, I quickly realized that developing others to achieve milestones and accolades inspired me even more than when I achieved them myself. There is nothing like the thrill of being part of someone's success. My leadership style is authentic. I'm a direct, honest communicator. I say what I mean, and mean what I say. I care about those I work with, and want them to grow into a potential that they might not even see in themselves yet. A responsible leader, I challenge those I work with while creating room for growth and mistakes. I thrive when working with high performance teams. As a team member, I'm committed, engaged, and reliable. If I tell you I'll do something, you can take it to the bank. My personal growth is a top priority... you'll likely catch me in the middle of another great book on leadership!
