This role includes but is not limited to managing the end to end process of responding to RFP, RFI, RFQ and drafting of SOW's.

Work with clients who need images created for promotional use.  Develop a vision for the photo shoot or film, hire the perfect team of creative individuals to execute the vision, manage all aspects of the shoot on the day of. Communicate the clients vision to the creative team,  location scouting and model casting.  Post production follow up, completing photo selection from the captured images on the shoot which require further editing and  present final shot selctions to client. 

Interview fashion production experts who work behind the scenes in the fashion industry in Toronto.  Bringing a focus to those jobs in the industry that don't garner as much attention but are necesary for the successful execution of any fashion line.

Executed tasks in relation to the completion of promotional sales orders.  Which included but was not limited to contacting clients to confirm that they received information that they requested, writing orders, submitting orders for entry, following up with vendors to ensure that purchase orders had been received, following up with the client once the order was completed.  Updating the website with new promotional products,   Completed promotional inquiries from clients, including researching the item and providing a photo and pricing for the item.  Sourcing networking functions. Attend networking functions to speak to potential clients to bring in new business.  Follow up with contacts from events.  Maintenance of the promotional products in the showroom, ensure that they were current and priced.  Order promotional items for the company to use in its own self promotion.

Promotional Sales Coordinator

Coordinated all activities in the preparation and execution of painting projects for multiple clients.  Acted as a single point of contact for all clients and contractors hired to execute each project.  Resolved all conflicts and problem solved on each project to ensure that projects were completed to the specifications of the client, on time and on budget.  Liaised with company public relations firm to organize the attendance of each National Account Manager at our sponsored networking events held nationwide.

For me, proposal management isn’t about a “pretty” bid.


It’s about elevating how a company shows up  on paper, in writing, and in the minds of evaluators.

When a client feels proud of what they’re submitting…
When they see their value communicated clearly, confidently, and strategically…
When they say, “We could have never produced this ourselves” 

That’s the moment I know I’ve added real value.

It's the whole point. 

It’s felt.

📚 I’ve been reading Tolkien, Alexandre Dumas, and Oscar Wilde lately… and now I’m fighting the deep urge to start writing proposals like a dramatically overeducated 19th-century narrator.



My emails are still professional—but my spirit is whispering things like:

“We reviewed the RFP—therefore, we embark upon a noble quest.”

“The client seeks innovation; therefore, we shall dazzle them with dashboards!”

“Stakeholders disagree; therefore, diplomacy must be wielded with the precision of a duelist’s blade.”

Honestly, at this point I want to sprinkle ‘therefore’ throughout my writing like medieval seasoning.

Because why say “so” when you can say THEREFORE and feel the weight of destiny behind your sentence?

Reading Tolkien makes me want to narrate the Executive Summary like an epic prophecy.

Dumas convinces me every kickoff meeting deserves a sword-clashing theme song.
And Wilde? 
Wilde makes me want to craft win themes so witty they earn a standing ovation from the evaluation committee.

But beneath all the theatrics, the truth remains:

📝 Great proposals thrive on clarity, intention, and storytelling—timeless principles shared by every legendary writer (and every exhausted proposal manager).

Therefore—see what I did there?—

I’ll continue enjoying my literary adventures while resisting (barely) the temptation to write:

“Choose us, dear evaluator, for all others are but shadows and dust.”

#BFUTR 2025 has wrapped and as usual it was an energetic gathering of professionals seeking connection and clarity. For some, it also provided purpose and direction. 

For me, it is always a reminder that showing up for yourself and getting in the room can benefit you in ways you don't anticipate or expect.

To show up fully you must own every aspect of your story and persona, leaving no room for questions that distract you from the mission. 

You will have to let go of everyone else's idea of you but the version of you that remains will be nuclear!

Some teams think their proposal just needs more detail, but clarity and structure are what actually win deals. 


The real value isn’t just a polished document. 

It’s confidence. ✨

This client already had experts and a solid understanding of the requirements. They were invited to bid for a reason. 

But what they didn’t have was structure. 🧩

I reviewed the existing template and redesigned it to break up blocks of text. I follow a page count rule. Then I drilled into how to tell their story. Not just what they were delivering, but how. I clapped and cheered when I read the updates. Total game changer. 🎉

Now, the message was clear and consistent. It was clearly communicated so that the client would understand what made their approach different. 

They thought success hinged on adding more details, but the real shift came from making their thinking and strategy feel obvious to anyone reading. 

When the team could clearly show the "why" behind their approach, the whole proposal felt stronger. That’s what moves the needle. 

And the feedback from the client?  "I think we have delivered an excellent response" 👏
