With a last name like Nielsen, it's no wonder how I fell into the media industry, but my focus has and continues to be how to best utilize data to shape the direction and economics of an organization... whether a TV station, small business, large corporate entity, or an e-commerce start-up. I find intrinsic value in identifying potential resolutions to any size of problem: establishing KPIs and how they're measured, all the way down to forensic accounting of vendor relationships. My resourcefulness, communication and collaboration has led me to rewarding experiences and work at nearly every level of each organization I've worked for. While experienced in tools and languages like Tableau, SQL, Snowflake, etc. I'm able to identify translatability easily. My goal isn't to just pull numbers and extrapolate light insights, but to help drive effective decision making by understanding the business and end-goals through strategic alignment.
