Do you practice what you preach?


In a recent 'Leaders in STEM' podcast with Intergage Marketing Engineers, I talked about the importance of building relationships in B2B marketing.

In a digital world, I firmly believe that meeting people face-to-face and getting to know each other, is still the most powerful form of communication, if;
✅ You want to be memorable. 
✅ You want to build a solid brand and stand out. 
✅ You're more interested in a long term relationship than short-term sales.

So that's what I did yesterday. Alongside Darren Grantham from Make UK, I hosted a manufacturers networking event where we could meet other people who are also passionate about Manufacturing (although I admit that I talked for a while about LC Automation Ltd and what we are all about).

Although presenting to 30+ people was definitely outside my comfort zone, it was a fab event that I really enjoyed. We had a mix of different people, different businesses, but everyone was engaged and the room had a great buzz as people chatted and new relationships start to form.

Thanks to everyone that came along and really got involved in some fantastic conversations. If I didn't get to speak to you, please get in touch and lets arrange another time for a chat. I talked a lot about us, but I want to learn a little bit more about you.

After all, for me it's all about relationships.
