From the time I can remember, I have been a keen observer and learner who does not mind putting in the effort to learn things I want to learn. I am constantly trying to improve how I learn and I think, it’s a continuous journey. I was fascinated regarding what powers devices in our homes i.e. energy. For learning more about it, I enrolled myself for graduation in Electrical Engineering and worked in all 3 parts of the Energy sector - Generation, Transmission, and Distribution to understand nuances of what all happens from the time of generation of energy to time it reaches our homes for powering our devices. While working, I realized there is much more to decisions being taken in terms of the business aspect of the decisions, than only just thinking about technical aspects. I took the usual route of an MBA for learning more about the business side of things in a compact time frame. In my MBA at NMIMS Mumbai, while I learned a lot from professors and by reading case studies, but, most of my learning came from smart peers and participating with them in various corporate competitions. I always used to ponder that one can take decisions based on the limited data, which one requires for a decision. But, what about Data at scale and how stakeholders can take decisions in such as case. I want to learn more about that so I took up the Analytics role in a Fortune 50 retailer and worked on data products. I got a chance to work with awesome Product Managers and realised that Product excites me more. So, I moved to the product side of things and am currently working as a Product Manager of Android app at IndiaMART(B2B ecommerce platform). I own the product roadmap for subscription products and seller profile product on the Android app. I feel like traveling, being Foodie at heart, writing poems, and willingness to learn from everyone represent me. Apart from this, I'm a voracious reader and like reading Non-fiction mostly. I read Autobiographies, Product Management, Analytics, Design, Retail, Companies, Investing and Personal Finance, etc. I am a curious person with a lot of questions. I want to improve the world, and I want to smell good while doing it. I want to achieve this by making my career in Product Management.
