With the rapid growth of the European cannabis industry and the overwhelming amount of opportunities this emerging market presented, I leveraged my contacts and existing knowledge of the industry to get further involved and learn. 

Successfully consulted and assisted various companies on the following:

Licensing - Assisted in setting internal company structure and incentives, as well as the full write up of business plans for cultivation companies applying for licensing in the USA and Australia.  

Real Estate - Research and sourcing of dispensary licences and locations in Amsterdam and Barcelona.

Raw Materials - Advised FMCG brands and wholesale suppliers on product development, as well as sourcing and managing the supply of raw materials such as genetics, concentrates and isolates.

Business Consultant & Project Management - Cannabis 

Kalapa Clinic

Kalapa Clinic is the first Medical Consultancy for Treatment based on Cannabinoids, based in Barcelona, Spain. Kalapa Clinic and its team is also the basis for an Education Institute for Professionals for Medical Cannabis.

During my Internship at Kalapa Clinic I was the Country Manager for the German market, which involved aspects of research, business development as well as communication strategies, in particular:

- Research and investigation of market and competitor landscape including possible distribution partners
- Development of business expansion strategy for emerging markets including Germany
- Evaluation of Customer support tools
- Analysing current PR and (online) communication structure including proposals for enhancement
- Setting up a social media strategy including a coherent content strategy for verticals (specific applications / indications / symptoms) and SEA activities
- Setting up of dedicated landing pages and A/B testing framework to optimise campaigns according to the conversion funnel
- Harmonise SEO activities with experts of HS3 Group and country managers of affiliated companies
- Find, list and contact individuals with testimonial value to support the relevant products
