- Redeveloped the website, writing all copy implementing SEO and SEM, and onboarding a content creation team to drive organic growth through content marketing (written and video)
- Developed a strategy for B2B and B2C social channels, increasing followers by 10700% in the first month, and driving over 1000 unique visitors to the new website from launch
- Managed a team of 5, all working remotely around the world, using Slack and Asana 
- Implemented a CRM system (Hub Spot) to track customers and developed a segmented (B2B and B2C) comms plan

Strategic Advisor at Sustainable Tech Start Up

The Growth Company

Working across Group with the Business Growth Hub (SME business support), MIDAS (inward investment agency) and the Department for International Trade to develop international activities, events, programmes and relationships that increase internationalisation for businesses across the region. Key outputs to date:
- Developed an engagement plan for public sector and private sector partners to increase collaboration and drive new business. Established an International Trade Charter setting out principles of partnerships. Engaged with over 70 partners in the first quarter, creating Client Overviews (deep dives) for each.
- Delivered an free event for local start ups and scale ups focused on digital tools for international growth with Google Digital Garage, DIT and Mayor Andy Burnham.
- Developed an online training academy to improve the skills of our International Trade Advisors, better manage training plans, providing improved MI
- Mapped over 100 international accelerator programmes and designed cohort exchanges to support trade and investment strategies
- Reported to GMCA (combined authority) on developments and activities. Set up a Slack group to improve knowledge sharing and comms around international relationships and delegations and presented to the quarterly International meeting
- Thought leadership - developed content for clients on international trade and coordinated a roundtable with public and private sector leaders, developing a whitepaper on 'How Service Businesses Can Scale Globally.'
- Regularly presented to DIT and GMCA international delegations on the business support ecosystem in Greater Manchester and benefits of international growth
- Worked closely with colleagues to add international elements to existing business support programmes

International Trade Development Manager

Genesis Research Trust

Providing consultancy services to a reproductive health research charity focused on funding ground breaking and innovative research into the causes and prevention of infertility, premature birth, miscarriage and stillbirth. Outputs to date include:
- Developed a Fundraising Strategy to increase charitable giving and implemented an Action Plan to deliver strategic goals.
- Researched and developed a Target List, prospecting process and carried out prospecting of new and existing funding partners to generate a pipeline and secure funding.
- Created bespoke proposals and marketing collateral to support funding applications and partnership agreements, this included USPs, market research of both prospect and charity sector, social return on investment, impact analysis and cause marketing benefits.
- Supported the management of a conference and exhibition, including generating sponsorship and exhibition revenue, managing the venue and financial budgeting. 
- Engaged wider stakeholders (Clinicians, Researchers and Academics) to identify areas of growth, leverage existing relationships, build up a knowledge bank and create new and fresh content for sales and marketing purposes.
- Developed an Event Sales & Marketing Plan to generate additional income into the charity.

Consultant

H. T. Forrest (went into administration)

Developed the business development, marketing and bid strategy for the business. Implemented a new bid management process, created a Target List of clients within the public and private sector, wrote key bids and secured over £7m worth of new contracts and was shortlisted for a £38m bid which I wrote and project managed. Developed a Marketing Plan for the business including managing external marketing agencies through the administration process. Implemented a Key Account Management Plan to maximise sales, market intelligence and customer experience with existing customers. Developed a costed resource plan to double growth in Year 1.

Responsible for researching, writing and editing content for the vegan start up, scheduling across our social media platforms and publishing PR. Worked closely with the international team to create engaging content (written, video, images for Facebook, Insta and Twitter). Extensive use of digital marketing to organically grow followers from 50k to 250k in 3 months.
