Responsibilities include running payroll, managing our time-off plans and PTO requests, tracking & paying out expense reports, maintaining our time tracking system, managing our health insurance plan, facilitating raises, terminations & performance plan discussions. Onboarding and off-boarding (together with our recruiting team).

I work with a team to maintain our company culture and continue to grow it. We utilize several 3rd party systems as well as employee created activities & events such as weekly trivia, a company podcast, an internal radio station, March Madness competitions, and multiple communities that have their own interests. I am in charge of our internal annual awards program where we use nominations and feedback to give out awards based our internal values.

I was part of a committee that created and implemented a new company social structure to promote better connection, communication and more autonomy for employees.

I have worked with a team to create a new office in Costa Rica and I manage our Office Manager in that office.

Director of HR

Accounting
Responsible for all client invoicing, sales/recruiting commissions, AR/AP process, reconciling bank accounts, reconciling corporate credit cards, managing funding for our self insured insurance plan, maintaining budgets, deposits and wire payments. Proficient in QuickBooks desktop and QuickBooks online.

Office Management
I am responsible for all client contracts and employee contracts. Point person for all employee questions/needs, maintenance needs, janitorial services, shipping needs, office supplies. I maintain stocked break rooms/conference rooms, organize and schedule meetings for multiple business needs, schedule travel, greet customers, answer phones, manage security system access.

I am in charge of our charity programs as well as company contests we hold throughout the year.

I created a group lunch order system to stream-line the process for lunch meetings and our SolutionMap process. 

Corporate Party/Events Planning
I have been responsible for organizing and running our company parties for years. I am capable of pulling together large scale events like corporate parties at Lagoon, entire movie theater rentals with assigned seating, large holiday parties with meals, gifts, & entertainment. I am also in charge of monthly company wide birthday lunches where we have different themes and run it potluck style & catered. I run annual chili cook-off’s & bake-off’s as well as Halloween parties, Christmas parties, and parties in the park.

Office Manager/Event Planning

I am passionate about people and being able to make an impact in their lives through a positive experience with HR & admin personnel. I believe that having an open/honest/fun workplace culture is the way to achieve balance between a companies success & keeping employees happy!
