I hit the rock bottom so hard I could hear myself crying
Not mentally. Not emotionally. All of it.

For the last few months nothing seems to be working. Everywhere I try to initiate a conversation, only disappointment seems to be available. 

1. Could not pay someone who’s worthy of every penny. 
2. My mind falling apart seeing the online successes
3. Distanced myself with my one and only friend

7. Irregular content posting

"Every second felt like “Wtf am I even alive for."
"I did nothing that can comprehend why am I living?"

April past just gone like that! Woosh!

So I thought Okay May needs to be different.

To my surprise even though I should not by now, It was worse than April.

I completely lost every bit of spark.
Got into fights with family about “wasting my time.”

Realized now I am finally broke AF ( My saving ended )

“Astrology” and rituals are always on my nerves
(Coming from a Bengali household)

Now, during all these things happening
I had two job offers between all of these things

I rejected them because I couldn’t imagine giving up on this life. 

10th may around 3am I was going though my google photos and there it was in my memory section - Two pictures

1. In 2016 - I used to create YouTube videos

- Writing scripts
- Acting in public
- Dressing into characters
- Taking interviews of people
- Tried different content formats

I did all that at a time when we didn't know content creation is going to BOOM like what we see today.

2. In 2019 - I used to write stories on Instagram.

I didn't know it was "Content or copywriting"
All I knew that I wanted to write stuff that I want.
I was not a writer but I did write anyway.
People liked what I wanted to say.

For a minute, I just numb - I couldn't think anything
I was amazed I am same person who did all that

I have done public interviews and Now I am just a scared cow because I have to post online, make videos!

All because It didn't feel fun anymore as It became a job to chase

Likes & Comments

While sabotaging what I really could have done!

This was the signals that this what I was supposed to do.

I have buried it under demands of growth, money, luxury and numbers.  
Or better I can say I almost forgot "I was ahead of my time"

This happening felt like I regained my conscience back and I need to do something about it.
Life has given me multiple signals on what I can do and I didn't take it!

But this my friend - This is my welcome back!

I have chased attention like it was the answer to everything but never got! 
High reach. Viral posts. Fire emojis in the comments.

But those likes never paid the bills.

When I first started freelancing, I had content that performed.

People watched. Engaged. Said "love this!"
But no one booked. No one paid. No one converted.

And it messed with my head.

I thought

Maybe my offer was wrong. 
Or I needed more followers.

But the truth?

I misunderstood audience behavior.
Most people weren’t “just consuming” or “ready to buy.”

They were in the gray zone.
Curious, cautious, but uncommitted.

Another polished post didn't move them 

It was the quiet stuff that I have ignored :

✅ DMs with no pitch

They removed resistance from the client POV. Built belief.

If your prospects need to “figure out” what you do…
You’ve already lost them.

Your offer should pass the 5-second test:

✅ Can they instantly understand the problem you solve?
✅ Do they see the outcome they’ll get?
✅ Do they trust that you can deliver?

If not, simplify it.

3. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗜𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 (𝗗𝗼𝗻’𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗔𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲)

Social proof isn’t optional.
It’s the difference between a sale and silence.

If you don’t have testimonials, get beta clients, document their results, and build proof.
People don’t trust promises. They trust proof of results.

When your offer hits these 3 pillars:

People know exactly what they’re getting.
They feel the urgency to solve their problem.
They trust you can deliver.

Marketing only works when the offer is already compelling.

Because people like us can't think like that

That’s what I was been told.

This was the same person I used to share every win with.

- Got new client? I’d tell him.
- Reached 5figures in rev? I'd tell him
- Want to start going to gym? I'd tell him
- Thinking of my dream house? I'd tell him 
- Taking to a girl I like - he'd be the first to see.

We often used to casually chat for hours

But with each passing day something shifted.

Whenever I am talking about something I'd do, I heard

“You shouldn’t think of investing so much in a house.”
“Don’t even think of dating her she looks expensive.”
“We’re middle-class people. Act on what you have."
"Dream of something that is in our league." 
 
I paused. I kept thinking 

At first, I thought he was just being protective. Realistic.
But then I realized it was in everything I wanted to do.

He wasn’t scared for me doing it
He was scared of me changing.

That moment stung really really hard.

Not because he doubted me.

But because I had outgrew the pains that hold the bond between us, so our ideas & discussions are no longer relevant.

I didn't want to accept so I kept ignoring it
But we weren’t actually friends anymore.

We were just turned into drinking buddies 

Connected by comfort 
Connected by pains & problems not dreams.

Here’s what I learned:

1. Not everyone is meant to go where you’re going.

2. Outgrowing the people close to you is a painful part of growth because you are no longer the known person that they liked to hang around

3. Because someone is in your life now doesn’t mean they align with your ideas and Goals

I went from wasting 10+ hours to finally taking control of my day

Before: I thought I was “working hard” 24*7 but exhausted.

After: I worked 7-8 hours daily but got twice as much done.

Earlier in my career, I’ve worked brutal jobs shifts 20+ hours straight.

I got bored I got distracted completed everything I had because everything was scheduled for me in front of my face beforehand

When I started my business and went full grind mode: 13-14 hours a day, every day.
