The best positioning is naming your “enemy” straight up.

It’s easier for the mind to establish a clear point of reference, and then open up a narrative about how you’re different.

This is especially true within established categories—like CRMs, Customer Support, etc.

I haven’t seen many companies do this explicitly.

Pylon found a nice, subtle way by using the references section for it: 
“Migrated off Zendesk, Intercom, etc.”

That way, it’s clear within five seconds that:
- (a) They are a support platform — an established and known category
- (b) They proactively address my biggest objection: a clunky migration process

The only question they leave unanswered is how exactly they are different or better — “B2B” still feels too broad and not an actual differentiator. 

It would also be great if you could click on the references to go directly to case studies detailing how a potential migration would work.

I wish more companies took such an explicit positioning approach 🙌
