My Why: Stories Forge Connection - Connection Creates Health. Hello good human—I’m Nim. I’m an Australian Narrative Practitioner, Non-Executive Director, and Strategic Advisor who believes storytelling is our greatest passport to genuine human connection. A mentor once described me as a ‘Narrative Nerd’. What I know to be true is that narrative and storytelling are transmitters of culture and values. Over the past decade, I’ve researched the power of narrative within families and spent 20 years honing brand storytelling. Drawing on human-centered design, narrative psychology/therapy, social science, and intergenerational connection, I’ve developed unique frameworks that spark transformation—whether it’s preserving a family legacy or building cultural relevance for a global brand. In previous life chapters, I pioneered ‘Intrapreneurship’ as the world’s first Chief Next Generation Officer in a $16B, 7th-generation family enterprise. I began my career at Red Bull, mastering strategic insight and cultural resonance early on. What I discovered in every role: narratives drive culture, shape collaboration, and foster meaningful belonging. My deep curiosity has led me to call four continents home—USA, UK, UAE, Bermuda, and now Australia—while travelling to 64 countries. With 20+ years in communications and a lifetime exploring the human condition, I’ve found my relational intelligence to be the greatest strength and gift I bring to every partnership.
