An IAF Veteran with 36 years of experience in aviation and aviation management. Held leadership positions in command of a front-line base in J&K. Volunteered for tsunami relief operations in 2004 and operated as the task force commander in-charge of rescue, relief and rehabilitation of the islands of the Andamans. A certified recruiter and personality assessor, I have experience of a large number of interviews as President of SSB. Have operated with the UN peace keeping forces in Congo DRC and earned experience of operating with foreign partners. Written three books in the non fiction category. One book awarded as best non fiction book for 2016-17. Presented papers on Disaster Management at international and national seminars on disaster Management. Also invited as speaker on Disaster Mgt and leadership at various institutions. Attend a large number of literature festivals to deliver talks related to my books and also as moderator/curator. Worked as Senior Instructor at the Defence Services staff College where i was in-charge of conduct of all training for future leadership of the Armed Forces.
