** Messenger Ads Product Research **
Worked on the cross functional Messenger Monetization product team to prototype and test new ad formats that leveraged Messenger to add value to the user’s ad experience. My focus was to provide input to the product development process with an eye to creating advertiser value and evaluate ads effectiveness of these new ad formats.

** Topic data **
Led pilot team focused on using Facebook topic data to try and answer advertiser questions, managing two analysts. The goal was to use this opportunity to understand how advertisers could benefit from aggregated topic data on Facebook. We used these projects as a way to familiarize ourselves with the data toolkit and understand how advertisers could use these insights/ find value from them to help advise the products’ evolution as analytical power users. ** Ads PYM **
Pricing and sizing of News Feed Ad products - worked with the auction engineering team to understand ads auction systems and algorithms to more efficiently price fixed price products. Unlike traditional online ads business, Facebook’s fixed price products competed in the auction system and so pricing ads on Facebook was not about finding a price the advertiser was willing to pay but to rather calculate a price that would be competitive in the auction through the variations in our auction. 

**Upfronts/ Deal Desk **
Worked on upfront deals with our largest US clients and Global Accounts - focus of the work was to create a tiered incentive structure for discounts/ rebates and to ensure deals were following this structure. 

** Auction & Delivery Science **
The goal of the A&DS team is to enable a better understanding of the Facebook auction system for all of its’ users. We worked to improve this understanding of the auction system by analyzing performance of the auction system, specific ad products and ad campaign/ bidding strategies. Cross functional partners were often ads product and engineering teams, client partners/ CSMs and Product Marketing Managers.

Monetization Analyst

Pricing and Yield Management Analytics and Operations for All of AOL owned and operated properties. 
- Set quarterly rate cards (~1500 ad products across various properties and formats) 
- Analyzed monetization trends to designed promotions & deals to maximize advertising revenue
- Designed custom rate cards for upfront deals
- Created Tableau dashboards to monitor inventory monetization trends to support Yield operations (discounts/ deals)
