Seriously.

1. Send messages when buyers aren’t thinking about the problem.

2. Follow up just because the sequence says “Day 3”.

3. Add more steps and volume.

4. If they don’t reply, send another one.

5. And another one.

Because obviously, the problem is that you didn’t send enough messages.

- Not that they’re busy.
- Not that they’re not evaluating.
- Not that they don’t care yet.

Just keep going.

Buyers only reply when they’re hiring, researching, comparing tools, or checking pricing…

But why wait for that?

That would require timing, patience, and actually paying attention.

It’s just much easier to blast everyone and hope.

And definitely don’t wait for signals like, someone:

→ Hiring
→ Raising money
→ Visiting pricing page
→ Engaging with the exact problem you solve

That would mean reaching out when they’re actually ready.

And you don’t want that.

You also probably shouldn’t use tools like lemlist’s Intent Signals.

Because they surface those moments in real time.

And let you reach out with context that actually makes sense.

Which would get replies→ conversations→ pipeline.

Way too risky.
Better to stick with volume because it’s tradition.

Jason M. Lemkin says “we’re done hiring humans for sales” in his recent podcast.

And he’s half right.
