As a Legal Counsel, I provide effective legal support for companies’ operations across multiple jurisdictions, including contract drafting and negotiation, due diligence, legal research, and legal compliance for ensuring that an organization operates within the bounds of applicable laws and regulations, as well as developing and implementing compliance policies to help organizations avoid legal issues and penalties. With over 15 years of legal experience, I have developed strong skills in legal writing, document preparation, and communication, as well as a keen attention to detail and a high level of professionalism. Prior to joining Mumzworld, the #1 mother, baby & child site in the Middle East, as their Head of Legal, I worked as a Senior Legal Counsel at The ENTERTAINER, a leading lifestyle and rewards app, and prior to that I was Senior Legal Counsel at COFE App, an online coffee marketplace, and Legal Counsel at Drake & Scull International, a global engineering and construction company. In these roles, I handled complex and diverse legal matters, such as corporate governance, intellectual property, litigation and legal compliance, and worked with multiple stakeholders, such as senior management, external counsels, regulators, and clients. I am very enthusiastic about the tech and ecommerce industry, and I enjoy applying my legal expertise to help startups and established companies alike grow and succeed in their markets. On a personal level, I am passionate about art and I draw as a hobby in my free time, taking commission work from time to time. I am also an avid reader, and I love literature and fiction. There is always a book sitting on my nightstand. On a different note, I am a triathlete, and you will find me either running, cycling or swimming every morning before I head to work. I believe training gives structure to my life, and it clears my head to better handle any stresses thrown my way throughout the day. My hobbies enrich my personality, and I think they highly contribute in making me a successful human, both on the personal and professional levels.
