With over three decades of experience as a brand designer spanning Japan, the USA, and China, Gregory Moulinet has transitioned to education since 2015, tutoring through lectures and workshops in various art and design institutions to become a part-time tutor in the industrial design department at XJTLU since 2021. Hailing from France, Gregory Moulinet graduated magna cum laude from the Grenoble Fine Arts School and the Nantes Atlantique School of Design (EDNA). His professional journey as a designer and artist commenced in the early 90s on a notable collaboration with Nintendo, while being represented and exhibited by Perrotin Gallery. In New York City, he pioneered highly successful online logo design services and creatively contributed to the design and messaging of hundreds of prominent brands such as China Central Television (CCTV), Bank of China, Lianjia Realtors, SAP Japan, TDK and the Wines of Chile Association. This self-carved path made him highly knowledgeable in both, contemporary art and commercial design. Moulinet is currently reflecting and researching on Biocentric Design Thinking (Design Within Means), Ethics in System Design (A.I.’s Ethical Conundrums), and Counter-Propaganda Strategies (Brand Design & Micro-Messaging).
