Nonceba Qabazi's Linkedin Analytics

Nonceba is the Association Ventures Manager at Allan Gray Orbis Foundation, where she works with the Capital and Ventures portfolios for Fellows. Prior to this, she was a Programme Director at Grindstone, managing their first all-women accelerator, GrindstoneX, a programme in partnership with Naspers Labs, as well as the first Green Economy programme, in partnership with Anglo American Foundation. In her roles in entrepreneurship support organisation, Nonceba has worked with tech and tech enabled entrepreneurs, implementing high growth support programmes in their scaling. With experience, she has led multiple projects within the global Aspen Network of Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE) network, where she championed research and was the South African Ecosystem Snapshot project lead. Nonceba developed the landscape mapping studies and directories, namely the "Township Economies in South Africa Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Snapshot" (2021) and the "Durban Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Snapshot: with a focus on innovation" (2019) resources, where she leveraged her network to identify the high touch points of entrepreneurship support. Both are an online resource tools that help entrepreneurs identify organisations supporting various stages of development through financial and non-financial support mechanisms, useful for connecting entrepreneurs to support structures they need. Nonceba has a deep passion for strengthening inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem environments, with a keen interest in collaborative support mechanisms, particularly in cultivating township economies, addressing the gender gap and creating platforms for access to knowledge and networks.
