Junior Graphic Designer

I navigated through a web of collaboration between the marketing, architectural team and external sub consultants. I worked to complete tight deadlines for client material such as presentations, request-for-proposals and brochures.

My main tasks were to reformat and stylise material to present it in an appealing way for clients, ensuring brand consistency alongside a unique touch for each client.

Alongside this, I occasionally helped the architectural team to complete graphics, or edit videos.

Finding a gap with the marketing team, I took my chances and was able to upgrade the existing company branding within a few months to bring a fresh perspective to RMJM’s forward-reaching outlook, hence giving me the decision to switch careers to visual design.

Quickly picking up the ropes on a small events start-up, I worked as an all-rounder from proposals to project execution, working efficiently under line managers to execute events.

As a part of the 3D Design team, I assisted in design research whilst also presenting my own design proposal as a culmination of what I had learned. Working in the 3D design team, I employed new and existing architectural software skills (CAD, 3DS Max, PS) to help out on existing proposals and also work on a brief on my own.

Hi, I'm Noor, Graphic Designer and founder of Design Draw Do, the passion project that has transitioned me into content creation, and my current full-time job in the Civil Service.

In my day job, you'll find me working on videos, graphics or animated content for the social media of the Department of Energy Security and Net Zero.

In my previous role as a 2D Creative at Jack Morton Dubai, I worked on a range of B2E to B2C activations, retail and digital work with clients such as adidas, Siemens and talabat. I also have experience in the marketing department of architectural firm RMJM Dubai, where I worked on proposals and presentations.

I love to talk about the intersection between art and design, creativity and productivity. Out of office hours, you'll find me editing videos, taking some sort of online course, or sketching on location!
