VELVET Group Limited (acquired)

I founded VELVET in 2013, as a digital communication and marketing agency servicing prestige and premium brands in China, offering strategic consulting to board level executives as well as digital activation services: social media management (Weibo, Wechat, KOLs...), search (Baidu) and media display advertising.

I sold VELVET sold to FABERNOVEL in 2017.


VELVET partnered with companies such as Kering, Richemont, LVMH, PUIG, Boucheron, Dior, Lane Crawford, ASC Fine Wines, L’Oréal, Mango, Ermenegildo Zegna and Galeries Lafayette among others.

L'Atelier (Shanghai) Ltd. - BNP Paribas Group

I created and led for over 5 years the Asian branch of L'Atelier, the innovation tech lab & innovation unit of BNP Paribas. Located in Shanghai (China), and with a team of 15 Chinese analysts, we helped Fortune 500 companies to leverage business opportunities in the region. And also advised founders of emerging Chinese digital players such as JD.com (formerly 360Buy.com) and P1.cn to expand in Europe.


Part of the BNP Paribas Group for more than 40 years, L’Atelier BNP Paribas is unique by its open architecture approach that extends beyond the banking sector, and its presence in three major geographical areas that are key beds for innovation : Europe, North America and Asia. Drawing on its prospective vision and experience, L'Atelier BNP Paribas actively promotes public debate (website, newsletter, TV) and help the BNP Paribas Group and its clients navigate through their digital transformation.

I had the chance to join the strategy department of BNP Paribas to launch and deploy the first digital task force of the group, with direct reporting line to the group deputy CEO. 

We managed and monitored over 400 internet websites and 800 intranet websites across all units and geographies of the group.

Some of the most exciting projects that I managed included:

o	Creating the first group-level digital dashboard for BNP Paribas' executive committee members
o	Auditing and evaluating all web initiatives of the group (over 1,200 websites) 
o	Developing the first internet-intranet repository of the bank, an InterNIC-like platform (6 months project between Paris and London with a great team of software engineers)

I joined L'Atelier in 2002 to support the transformation of this "internal unit" into a "servicing company".

I lead several missions of Consulting, Market Research and Keynotes for IBM, BNP Paribas, SWIFT...

I co-founded NetEconomie in 1998 while studying my master in Economics.

NetEconomie has been one of the first editorial web portal in France to specialize about the so called "internet economy" through publications, interviews and forums. 

After developing its traffic and notoriety, the startup has been sold to Cyrealis Group in 2006 and then became an new Internet asset integrated within the web division of M6 Group in 2008 (RTL Group, part of Bertelsmann).

Europe - Zen Factory (e-business consulting)

I joined the company to be part of the new digital consultancy unit, named "Zen Factory". 

I worked both on Business Development (bring new key accounts) and e-business consulting, including key projects such as:
o	e-Business Audit & Evaluation for TOTAL Group (over 70 projects analyzed)
o	Creation of the Market Intelligence department of Credit Mutuel

In 1999, I entered CorEdge (Corporate Knowledge) to specialize into the new practice of "knowledge management".

Main projects include:
o	Knowledge Management project for French automotive company Renault: Detecting errors in the upstream construction chain and implementing fast learning loops before mass production.
o	Knowledge Management project the French Ministry of Transportation: Setup decentralized knowledge centers throughout local points of the organization and systematize learning sharing.

During 6 months, this project led me to audit and evaluate the entire competitive intelligence system of Total Group: 
- 50 interviews across all divisions, 
- analysis of process, organisation and technologies implemented by the company 
- resulted in a 150 pages report presented to 50 internal managers and executives (internal conference).
