Policy Settlement

Policy Settlement offered financial services to affluent business owners and other clients from coast to coast. It was founded in 2003 by its former CEO, Norman A. Hood, an experienced independent insurance advisor who’s provided a variety of financial services to business owners for 47 years. 

Policy Settlement is best known for introducing the LIVEpdq estimator to the life settlement industry in 2004. Used extensively, LIVEpdq soon became Policy Settlement’s primary lead generation method and was recommended frequently by those who know, including Kiplinger's.

Beyond LIVEpdq, Norman was also instrumental in creating the content for Policy Settlement’s website which included recruiting, training and equipping a team of bloggers to create the life settlement industry’s largest blog which drew traffic using “Link Moses” Eric Ward’s “bow tie strategy” and automated link building software application… a few years prior to Eric’s untimely death in 2017.

2005 - LIVEpdg Software:
During the late 90s Norman became involved in the life settlement industry. When Kiplinger mentioned him in a story it created another lead avalanche. To handle the lead volume from article marketing and SEO, Norman designed his second lead scoring software application to shorten the lead sorting process from one hour to under one minute. LIVEpdg (Life Insurance Valuation Estimate pretty darn quick) soon became one of the industry's most successful online lead generation tools. It was the industry’s first automated life settlement valuation tool and the only one ever recommended by Kiplinger's who said:
