Sustainability Embassy in Romania (SER) is an NGO officially launched in 2018, with the mission to promote sustainability in the business environment by facilitating the transition to the new economic model, where companies can solve social and environmental problems without sacrificing economic efficiency and profit.

Executive Director

In order to fulfil its mission, Sustainability Embassy in Romania developed several complementary programs, the flagship one being Sustainable Romania Coalition, the first non-political platform for sustainable development in our country.

The Coalition is part of the monitoring and action plan framework of the National Strategy for Sustainable Development of Romania, being recognized by the Romanian Government as the main dialogue partner on public policy issues focusing on sustainability in Romania.

The program is based on collaboration and partnerships between sectors, a prerequisite for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the 2030 Agenda. The Coalition currently gathers over 150 organizations (large companies, SMEs and NGOs) employing over 100.000 people.
