Make it a landing page:

Optimize this BEFORE everything else.

2️⃣ LEADS

1. Create an ideal client profile (ICP): 

→ Decision-maker
→ Current situation
→ Struggles & roadblocks
→ Where they wanna be (desired result)
→ Interests (for personalizing messages)

Ensure they have purchasing power & are in the market for your services. 

2. Create a Sales Navigator list:

→ Job Title
→ Location
→ Recently Active
→ Company Headcount
→ (whatever else is relevant)

Connect with 100 leads per week.

3️⃣ INITIAL CONNECTION MESSSAGE

Your leads don’t know you well.

They don’t owe you long answers.

So make their response quick:

→ Reply with ‘yes’ or ‘no’
→ Reply with 'interested'

Example:

→ Interested? Just reply 'yes'

Send 30 requests per week.

4️⃣ FOLLOW UPS 

Keep them short.

Test different angles:

Think about your ideal buyer.

Tailor your email to them.

Tap into their:

→ Fears
→ Desires
→ Dreams
→ Frustrations
→ Awareness levels

This creates empathy and connection — like you’re reading their mind.

2️⃣ HAVE A DIRECT CONVO

Find all the:

→ Us
→ We
→ They

Replace them with a simple 'you'.

(Ensure the grammar is correct)

Now, your email isn't just another ad…

It's a 1-on-1 convo with a real human. 

Remember:

Always write to just ONE person.

And write like you talk.

3️⃣ INJECT IMAGERY

“ChatGPT will replace copywriters in 2024” is the DUMBEST thing I’ve ever heard 👇

Short answer:

It’s like saying we don’t need accountants because we have calculators 😅

Yeah, you could always do taxes yourself...

But I’d rather chew glass.

And it doesn't guarantee you’ll do them correctly or take the best approach to minimize your taxes.

Long answer:

It boils down to the lack of 3 things: 👇

1️⃣ TECHNICAL SKILL

Some people don’t even understand how to open a PDF.

Or use Zoom.

What makes you think they’ll understand the correct prompts to get the results they want?

2️⃣ AUDIENCE RESEARCH

Many biz owners don’t understand how to “speak” to their own audiences.

Concepts like audience awareness levels, segmentation, and ideal client profiles (ICP) are completely foreign to them.

I speak to my target market everyday with my:

It’s a refined skill that goes deeper beyond just plugging in prompts.

3️⃣ CRITICAL THINKING

It’s painfully obvious when someone copy + pastes from ChatGPT verbatim.

It comes across as inauthentic & eliminates the ability for people to think for themselves.

ChatGPT is a great tool that makes content creation faster.

But it doesn’t mean it’s gonna replace the entire copywriting profession LOL. ✌️

I thought this was a coincidence at first...

Nope.

It has the:

→ same modules

The difference?

Their logo is slapped on at the bottom lol.

And not only that…

They added:

→ 60,000+ free impressions 
→ Probably some new customers too

By giving it away on Twitter (X).

Even worse…

Contents inside = generic ChatGPT garbage.

That’s like copying someone’s calculus homework without actually understanding how to do calculus.

🤷🏻‍♀️

In college, you'd get an “F” for this.

In business, you’re rewarded for it.

You’re welcome, I guess? 🤣

Anywho...

It’s cool to take inspiration.

It’s not cool to copy word-for-word without being a paying customer or client.

I hate when Uber drivers talk to me.

I stand in the corner at conferences.

I prefer to be left alone while eating.

But…

1️⃣ BE THE DOCTOR

What do doctors do when you walk into their room?

They ask questions about how you're feeling...

Diagnose your problem...

THEN prescribe a solution.

This is called the “doctor frame.”

Don't be a salesperson; be a doctor.

2️⃣ DO MY HOMEWORK

Before the call...

Do quick 5-min research:

→ website
→ location
→ products
→ social media
→ their interests

Goal = get to know them more so you can better relate & connect with them.

This builds rapport.

3️⃣ DON’T BE NEEDY

If you go into the call thinking: 

❌ "I NEED this deal"

You’ll definitely lose the sale. 

It’s going to rub off in the questions you’re asking & the tone of your voice.

And they'll feel that you’re just looking to get their money.

Instead?

Think this:

✅ "I’ll do my best to serve them"

Remember: 

You two are finding a solution to a problem.

4️⃣ ESTABLISH CONTROL

A sales call ≠ job interview.

When the call starts, you need to establish control ASAP. 

The last thing you want is for them to grill you with questions about you or your expertise...

Before you can even understand their current situation & if you can even help them.

5️⃣ BE CONFIDENT

You’re gonna feel nervous on calls.

That’s normal! 

Remember that you have nothing to lose.

More calls = more practice.

If all else fails…

Work with a mentor to help you get faster results.
