Week 9 recap of being a founder:
-> took care of 4 cats in one week (prepping to be a cat dad)

-> started doing outbound again. too early to tie it to closed deals but im getting good conversations 

-> cold called for the first time in 3 months and it felt surprisingly fun

-> used the pressure cooker behind my girlfriend's back... i ruined rice. might need to call it quits on this appliance 

-> made a free EGC giveaway campaign! stay tuned for the launch next week 

-> Stressed again and again because I'm spreading myself too thin and working on too many things that are not aligned with my business goal.

-> had 5 sales calls this week. less than I want but consistent with the previous weeks 

->  realized that some of my inbound sales calls are non-ICP so trying to decide whether to create a low ticket package or start qualifying more upfront 

-> filmed more content this morning, prepping for next week's posts

-> made homemade ginger/turmeric shots and DAMN are they good! 

-> started working with new editors and they are incredible! 

-> set a goal for myself to work with 5 clients (for my new offer) by the end of the year. kinda ambitious but let's see how far I get 

Reading all this before I post it, and it seems like the week went well, but to be totally honest the majority of my week was me stressing out and trying to figure out what to do and what I'm doing wrong. Sometimes it's good to take a step back and look at the big picture. Sure I may not be "killing it" (yet) but im taking strides and making progress and that's all I can ask for at this stage.

Week 8 recap of being a founder: 
- I boiled chicken in the pressure cooker 

- I am now not allowed to use my girlfriends pressure cooker 

- had 2 sales calls (light week)

- started doing outbound again 

- filmed 2 mini series to help teach about organic video content and EGC 

- updated my workshop offer 

- got 1 solid workout in 

- made the decision to soft pivot/extend my offer to target sales team and help them build out their employee generated content 

- had a decision call with a prospect (no go but hey can’t win them all) 

- filmed a bunch more content (big content week) 

And that’s it! Honestly better week for my mental and physical health but a light week on work.

Next week we will come back stronger

Posting content is hard. Coming up with ideas is even harder. but there's hope... 

If you're a SaaS founder and not sure where to start posting here's a simple strategy that always gets the job done. 

Step 1: Collect any objections, questions, anecdotes from your sales calls 

Step 2: Make a list of them from most frequent to less. 

Step 3: take the top 3 and make 3 individual posts about them 

And there you have it. 3 post ideas ready to go.

-> talked to my boy Troy Munson and he calmed me down lol 

Overall feels like im doing a lot and my focus is nowhere. Going to ride this out for the next month and then pick where I want my focus to be.
