I believe there should only be two answers in life. No for must things, or fuck yes. This principle guides how I live. When I buy into an Idea, I obsess over it. Absolute focus, together with my ability to learn fast and a thing for complex problems to solve. My 16 years in events taught me a many things, but one is definitely working well under pressure and dealing with adversities. In my previous startup, I set out to build a no-code vertical Saas for mega-events. I had many jobs: strategy & PM, front-end programming, product design, GTM strategy, corporate structures, managing sales and being a one-man show until I had a bit of angel money to lead a team of 15 people. When I was in M&A, we had to do deep dives in sectors we knew nothing very quickly. That showed me how to be good at deep research and ready between the lines. At some point, I was also managing a sales department in a real estate company. But for a builder, thats boring, so I moved on. I've been a builder all my life. From Lego to being in a robotics team at school, thats what I love doing.
