Mechanical Reliability Engineer

Ensure the integrity of pressure equipment and piping systems in the Amine and Sulfur Units (A total of 8 Units) in the SYNCRUDE Mildred Lake facility. Ensure equipment’s operate within design and approved operating envelope per Syncrude Standard of operations (SOP) and remain in compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
•	Steward reliability initiatives for Pressure Equipments.
•	Development of repair scopes and execution strategy for deficient assets. 
•	Corrosion survey and progression studies for critical Equipment susceptibly to damage mechanisms that can compromise asset safety.
•	Recommend inspection methodology and extent of inspection for Equipments.
•	Root cause analysis and accident investigation. 
•	Ensure repair requirements are properly documented for turnaround.
•	COVID -19 FFS Integrity Evaluation for TA scope deferral and service life extension.

I am an ABSA Pressure Vessel Inspector (IPV), an API 510, 570, 653, 571 Inspector, a CWB L2 welding Inspector, CSWIP 3.1 welding Inspector and a PMI certified project Manager (PMP).
