I provided leadership in adoption of Tableau software and  development, deployment and maintenance of a public, user-friendly Information Portal using Tableau. This portal is an interactive data visualization tool that provides the public with an unprecedented means of engaging and understanding City of Chicago data. The portal dashboards contain +100 ways for users to visualize city data related to the City‘s budget and staffing, as well as information relating to the Chicago Police Department: https://informationportal.igchicago.org/

I monitored and evaluated the performance of thousands of agencies and organizations nationwide funded by Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) at U.S. Department of Justice, resulting in development of innovative strategies and creation of 18 new grant programs to address violence against women. I managed teams of 5 to 15 research assistants, analysts, and associates, directing and prioritizing decisions regarding scope, time lines,  and success metrics. I led planning and implementation of processes to collect, clean, structure, and report quantitative and qualitative data from 8 OVW grant programs submitted by over 2000 funded agencies and organizations.

Research Analyst II 

I contributed to the creation of standardized reporting tools for Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) grantees, improving data uniformity and reliability by at least 50%. I collected, cleaned, and analyzed quantitative data submitted by approximately 1,200 grantees from 8 OVW grant programs using SPSS.

I was  chosen as one of several domestic violence experts from across the country to evaluate grant proposals for the Office on Violence Against Women (OVW).
