As a Manager in the Transfer Pricing Audit Division at the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), I work with a team of seasoned professionals that oversee the audit of multinational corporations that operate in Nigeria, ensuring compliance with the arm's length principle and preventing base erosion and profit shifting (BEPS). I have over 10 years of experience in accounting, taxation, and auditing, with professional qualifications such as being a Fellow Chartered Accountant (ICAN) Nigeria, MBA from Nexford University (USA), and the Advance Diploma in International Taxation (ADIT) from the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT) United Kingdom. My passion is to explore the challenges and opportunities of effectively taxing the digital economy, which is disrupting the traditional tax systems and creating new sources of value and revenue. I leverage technological tools such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics, and predictive analytics to design and implement digital transformation strategies for Certified B Corporations and C-suite Executives. I also advocate for corporate sustainability and carbon tax policies that promote environmental and social responsibility (ESGs).
