As the founder of Soon, I have over five years of experience in developing and launching a collaborative scheduling software that enables teams to offer amazing customer support. Soon is a web-based platform that simplifies employee scheduling, improves communication, and optimizes workforce management.

With my background in media and business, communication and media studies, and film production, I have a passion for creating innovative and engaging solutions that solve real-world problems and delight customers. I also have strong skills in marketing communications, new business development, and social media marketing, which help me grow and scale Soon in a competitive and dynamic market. Additionally, I am involved in Beernami, a Dutch craft beer subscription service that showcases local and independent breweries.

Saw a guy next to me in a food court on WhatsApp. Opening a PDFs zooming in and out, then typing in a group app, then repeating the same thing a few times. 

Now you're probably thinking I shouldn't invade someone's privacy like that. But my eye has been trained to spot a schedule from a distance. So I couldn't help but notice what was going on in my peripheral vision. 

Anyway long store short. As I was siting there I thought: Hmmm probably thousands of teams doing the exact same thing right now all over the world. 

So I opened up Gemini, pitch the concept. Gemini agrees that it makes sense to integrate Soon <> WhatsApp. Next I ask for a landingpage outline - hop over to Lovable, feed it the outline >>> Kablam >> https://chat.soon.works/

That's how fast it goes nowadays to build a landingpage that captures leads. 

But it doens't end there. 

Next I open Codex (OpenAI), tell it to make a prototype. 

Then I get stuck signing up for a developer account for Whatsapp business // Thanks Meta

Skyline Scraping 🏙️ (new hobby unlocked)

Here’s a fun one.

Nice skyline. Glass. Logos. Big corporate energy.

Instead of just posting the photo…

You drop it into your favourite AI tool.

Preferably one that:

Knows your ICP

Knows what you sell

Knows what kind of teams you care about


And you ask:

> “What companies are visible here and which teams inside them are most likely to need what I sell?”



Two minutes later you have:

Identifiable companies

Why they’re relevant

Which departments are interesting

Suggested job titles to target


That’s not “AI magic.”

That’s just context + positioning.

Let’s say I sell workforce management for 24/7 operational teams.

AI looks at the skyline and goes:

Big bank → contact centres, ops, compliance teams

Property developer → facilities, mall ops, security scheduling

Been kicking the tires on Manus AI and I must say, I understand why Zuck bought it. You just want to keep going once you get started.

The hard part with Veo (for me, at least) has been prompting the right things to get what you actually want. Manus solves this by doing the research and creating the context you need first.

That being said, you still need to course correct it from time to time. You have to put in some effort to get exactly where you want to go, and you definitely need some patience while it does the heavy lifting. These AI loading times are making me kind of nostalgic about the good old days for your computer to start up, or something to install :P 

Anyway, while it does the research, you get to see the script, the outline, and the production notes come together in real-time. It helped me brainstorm and form the concept in a way that is worth so much more than just having a raw idea.

I was originally just testing the video creation capabilities, but the brainstorming process was a pleasant surprise. It makes things possible that otherwise would have remained an idea that died a slow death somewhere in the corner of my brain.

I think this could actually become a pretty cool brand video for Soon. I’ll drop the final version once it’s ready, but in the meantime, here are some images to give a first impression of the quality.
