Senior Analyst

As an Investment Analyst, I act as a first point of contact for companies looking to raise through SyndicateRoom, spending a lot of time at relevant events, as well as carrying out criteria checks and due diligence on prospective investment opportunities before presenting them to our Investment Committee. I also undertake the front end role as the SyndicateRoom Nominee, keeping investors updated with their portfolio companies and leading the application and distribution of S/EIS, pre-emption and pro rata voting for SyndicateRoom investors. I'm keen on involving myself in public speaking opportunities at events and like to contribute content for our Investors Academy.

Position at an ambitious start-up project developing an app based platform for people to upload ideas around business, social enterprise and projects. My role included working heavily with the app to improve its layout and presentation, as well as leading the development of the in-app currency, which was vital to its gamification. I managed relationships, both with ideas producers and our team of high-powered coaches and big brands. I also represented the company in meetings with commercial directors and at public events in front of students and entrepreneurs.

Container-Shipping exports both commercial and personal goods to global destinations. We base our model around great customer service. We don't aim for a large quantity of customers, we aim for quality customers where we can provide a great 1-to-1 experience.

Full time graduate job, Account Manager Support. My role was to assist Handelsbanken’s customers when they had any queries regarding their banking or the products Handelsbanken offers. My other responsibilities include opening customer accounts, customer relations, payments and the upkeep of the branch website.

Aldershot Military Museum

Once a week, I worked behind the reception of the museum making financial transactions and helping customers who had questions about any of the museum pieces. I was also trusted to research artifacts that customers brought into the museum.

Volunteer

I spent time with both the individual banking managers learning about mortgages and personal loans, and the corporate managers prospecting potential future clients. I also worked with the documents team learning how to use the IBIS software and some of Handelsbankens other internal systems.

Temporary Assistant

I did a personal project on behalf of The Lord Lucas, Ralph Palmer, which I later presented to him. I had to conduct my own research and my own interviews to get the required information.

Summer work as a Temporary General Assistant. Worked in the office with the AQA database and MS Excel. I was trusted with confidential information and assisted examiners, by both phone and email, in their marking of student examination papers.
