Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM)

Acquired knowledge through a period of work experience summer 2022 at LGIM on the investment floor with the Asset Management team. Studied and gained exposure to the meticulous process of how Multi-Index, Multi-Manager and Model Portfolio Solutions strategies are formed. Furthermore, was able to gather industry leading knowledge and understanding of the integration of ESG into investment strategies and the consequences of choosing to adopt or dismiss the integration of ESG for firms.

Gained work experience on the trading floor of TPICAP on the Interest Rates Swaps desk. After shadowing there, I was able to understand about the interest rates transactions between commercial banks and their traders, and I finalised and submitted a ticket worth £12,000 to the firm.

Insurance Graduate at Lloyd's of London, currently on my first of four 6 month placements as part of the Lloyd's International Trade Advice (LITA) team. Notably interested in the client facing aspect of the role.
