I saw how fear and risk-aversion can block innovation, frustrate engaged employees, and stall revenue and growth - long before I entered the workforce. As a teenager, I watched my father propose embedding software into his employer’s hardware - years before digital transformation became critical. The idea was gold. But it was too unfamiliar, too “risky” for a company built to make and sell sensors. My dad left to build his own business. Thirteen years later, his former employer acquired it. That full-circle moment led me to believe: organizations don’t fail from lack of talent or ideas. They stumble because legacy systems, bureaucracy, politics, and fear block entrepreneurial energy. The cost? Lost customer trust. Lost talent. Lost relevance.
