- Handled all internal operational duties and offered floor support across 34 event spaces within the luxury hotel, catering for up to 1,000 guests
- Compiled Event Schedules for the hotel, working closely with internal departments to ensure accuracy of all details
- Oversaw Food and Beverage for all events, coordinating dietary information and confirming supply and stock
- Reconciled group accounts, sending invoices to clients and producing daily sales reports for hotel executives
- Coordinated the fortnightly roster for the team of 70 casual event staff
- Managed front desk reception in the office, responding to all queries from phone calls and a central inbox in a professional and timely manner
- Proactive and successful in campaigning to stop single-use plastics at events

Event Operations Coordinator

- Managed the calendar year of 32 events and all logistics, fully briefing and leading a team of between 4-30 for the duration of set-up and show days
- Organised the development, delivery and debrief of road shows, exhibitions, retreats, conferences and incentives from 10 - 2,500 participants
- Supervised my own Events Assistant, overseeing workload and setting goals
- Responsible for booking and managing all accommodation and travel for events. Solely managed 210 rooms across 7 properties and booked 30 flights, 10 coach journeys and 27 private car transfers for a single event
- Managed and reconciled event budgets of up to £1million, tracking all spend carefully through the use of Purchase Orders
- Sourced various suppliers and keynote speakers, managing contracts and liaison whilst coordinating production schedules and stage timings
- Was the sole point of contact for 26 different suppliers at our largest event
- Built registration websites, uploaded invite databases and pulled weekly reports to track and analyse attendance and payment
- Ordered relevant stock necessary for product launch events and took close inventory post-event, ensuring reports were flawlessly accurate
- Pioneered moving physical registration systems to a digital experience which was adopted by the company
- Received multiple monetary bonuses and a promotion during my employment

Spent a week on work experience as an Events Coordinator in the Marriott York Hotel. Here I was able to get an understanding of events from a venues perspective, shadow bedroom and conference bookings as well as assisting with the operations and logistics of events taking place.

A confidently skilled event manager with a wealth of experience in the events industry across the likes of agencies, venues and brands. Particularly experienced in running incentives, conventions and conferences throughout Europe.
