As Programme Manager for Mace,  Oliver worked with both Thames Water and Affinity Water introducing Programme Management Best Practices within their Asset Delivery Business Units.

At Thames Water, Oliver headed up the Programme Control Management for the delivery of the Below Ground Assets Programme, where it was his responsibility to ensure the team were lead, motivated and trained in the principlies of Programme Management and Project Controls, and that all Business Objectives both Regulatory and Non-Regulatory were delivered.

At Affinity Water, Oliver headed up the Programme Delivery for the Above Ground Assets Programme, where like at Thames Water, it was his responsibility to ensure the team were lead, motivated and trained in the principlies of Programme Management and Project Controls, and that all Business Objectives both Regulatory and Non-Regulatory were delivered.

Programme Manager

Transport for London

Oliver was planning manager, leading and mentoring a team of 25 planners. His primary objective was to ensure that the new S Stock Trains were manufactured and delivered onto the network in the right timescales, with all associated enabling works completed in readiness. This was achieved by Oliver introducing an integrated plan demonstrating the logic and timings between the projects, such as signalling immunisation; platform modifications; OPO CCTV replacement; etc.

M & W ZANDER FACILITY ENGINEERING SA

Oliver lead the planning effort on this massively complex civil engineering and building project, which included a substantial Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) fit-out.

Lead Planner

Oliver's portfolio comprised 31 projects. These were all Asset Renewal projects on the London Underground Network for the Bakerloo; Central and Victoria Lines. The projects were generally station and depot upgrades of buildings and mechanical & electrical fit out works including the upgrade of signalling and communications systems.

Project Planner

AMEC

Oliver was the project planner for the Docklands Light Railway Extensions running from Canning Town to Woolwich Arsenal. This inluded the construction of a 3.5km viaduct; 2.5km tunnel under the River Thames; 5 new stations and 3 new power supply substations.

Hochtief

Oliver was project planner on the Channel Tunnel Rail Link (CTRL) Contract 342. This was a section of the high-speed rail link from Ashford to London to the value of £180m. The scope of this project was to construct 5km of track. This included; the construction of 4 new bridges and a cut and cover tunnel under the A2 motorway, the Ebbsfleet International Station substructure, widening of the motorway by two lanes and construction of 2 new motorway junctions.

BAM Construct UK

Oliver was a section engineer on the Channel Tunnel Rail Link (CTRL) Project 103. This was a section of the high-speed rail link from Ashford to London with a contract value of £170m. The scope of this project was to construct three new viaducts and two major bridges, one over the Midland Mainline and the other over the North London Line.

Qualified Programme Management Practitioner and Consultant experienced in delivering complex projects, and leading transformational change within asset investment programmes for infrastructure and utilities clients.

Over 20 years experience in Programme Management working alongside Global recognised industry leaders and undertaking key roles for large organisations and clients. (e.g. Mace, Aecom and Transport for London)
