Yemi Odubote

Why you need an Eagle's Eye on your project.

In November 2023, when I first got introduced to the Lagos Tech Summit #Project. I had a total of 4 different group of teams in my portfolio that I needed to work with.

I met Yemi Odubote on the particular #team that was assigned to implement the deliverables and oversee it's execution from the Initiation stage to the Execution stage. 

Yemi Odubote  is that one person with an Eagle's Eye who would quickly spot an inconsistency or an opportunity to explore with a task being implemented as the #project came to life gradually.

He would not hesitate to drop a message or voice note for me to see things in a better perspective. Yemi Odubote  is a very brilliant collaborator & leader and his contributions shaped even the development of the Thematics for the conversation designed.

Oh! Yemi would ask me lots of questions and I was always waiting to hear them😊He didn't fail to critique the concepts and the design I was implementing to shape the event.

I would hear Yemi say in the #Yoruba dialect; "Toyin, Koyemi o!"Meaning;"Toyin,explain this"Of course my explanations of the project design attracted more critiques.😹

BTW,beware of people who would always YES your project design,look out for great critiques like Yemi!

So,if you are wary of constructive criticisms on your project,why don't you adopt a new way of thinking? Remember,a good critique will deepen your understanding of the subject matter to provoke thoughtful discussions for every one on the team.Oh! Yemi's critiques brilliantly shaped the Thematics design and Event Modalities.

As a matter of fact, Yemi had started shining the lights on the conversation in Email.And boy! That was when it reinforced my beliefs that we were going to have a great time on the conversations at the summit!alongside the amazing lineups we had started onboarding.

Yemi Odubote led the last panel session for the conversations at the summit.His style of steering the conversation with other Speakers on his panel is warming.Yemi on the Lagos Tech Summit Project organized by my organization at LearnWithPride Limited made the deliverables shake hands brilliantly!
