Advertising Business unit head driving a Kijamii cross-functional unit of account managers and creatives, offering a plethora of digital-first advertising services to businesses to brands across the MENA region.

Responsibilities:
• Leading a cross-functional regional team of 50+ Account Managers and Copy/Art Creatives situated in Cairo and Riyadh.
• Collaborating with key agency and network stakeholders to drive strategic integration efforts, upselling full range of services inclusive of media planning and buying strategies and execution, performance-driven creative, listening and sentiment analysis reports, multimedia and production, digital PR, and content creation.
• Leading on scoping and vetting of new business for optimum resource utilization.
• Uplifting quality of client servicing, strategic digital consultancy, creative strategy and content output.
• Building and maintaining vendor and 3rd party relationships to increase agency-client offering and help strengthen agency presence in market.
• Digital Marketing Strategy building and consulting for clients such as Google, Pepsico (Pepsi Egypt & KSA, Mirinda), ByteDance (TikTok), Emirates NBD, Edita (HOHOs), Banque Du Caire, Injaz, Magdy Yacoub Foundation, Noon.com, Paymob, Orascom (O West), Minly, Ghabbour, Huawei).

Nile Radio Productions (NRP)

Launched and managed NRP’s in-house digital marketing agency for the network’s radio stations NogoumFM and NileFM, NogoumFMTV, their music record labels Nogoum Records and NRP Music and their artists, and their Recording Studios. 

Set and executed the digital growth strategies for NRP’s social and digital channels, alongside developing class-leading mobile apps and editorial websites, resulting in an aggregate of over 10 million followers on social media, 1.5M+ million app downloads, and monthly website traffic of 5M.

Created content strategy for NRP’s full social and digital presence. 

Provided management, programming, sales and marketing with audience data and insights from our digital platforms for business, marketing and communication strategy considerations.

Set the editorial tone, direction and strategy for the mobile apps and websites.

Collaborated with NRP leadership, programming, sales and marketing departments to develop and commercialize digital products (social ads, content websites, mobile apps, streaming and display advertising for direct and programmatic selling). 

Provided leadership, sales, and marketing teams with ongoing, always-on strategic insights to influencer business and marcom directions and strategies. 

Set and executed the full digital strategy for NRP’s music business, managing relationships with distribution and aggregation partners, penning monetization deals with streaming services (Youtube, Anghami, Spotify, Apple Music/iTunes, Deezer), and managing artist music releases Sherine Abdel-Wahab, Hamaki, Ramy Gamal, Hossam Habib and others.

Managed a cross-functional team of 15 members (content, social media managers, account managers, designers, paid media executives, and editorial specialists), in addition managing relationships with off-site freelancers and suppliers/tech partners.
