I've often been the "people person",  the one who listens closely, sees what's not said, and brings clarity where it's needed.

From hospitality to managing multi-layered events, onboarding flows, and service experiences, I've always been drawn to the human layer of work:

I've led over 150 internal and client-facing projects across operations, events, training, and service strategy.
I've worked and lived across cultures and countries, and learned that real impact isn't about scale.
It's about how deeply people feel it.

Accountability is a door only the truth can unlock.


But some people would rather live behind walls.

They will cut you and ask why you're bleeding.
Burn the bridge, and ask why you stopped crossing.
They will rewrite the story, and then blame you for remembering it differently.

You will try to show them.

You'll lay out the timeline.
Speak gently.
Even cry.

But if someone is committed to their version of the truth,
They'll treat yours like fiction, call you dramatic.
Too sensitive.
Unforgiving.

It's like standing in the fire, holding the match, and still being told,
"That's not how it happened."

Some people are not snakes, but they do shed accountability like skin.
Smooth. Silent.
Slipping into the next chapter without ever saying sorry.

But here's the danger:
They lie.
And worse
They believe the lie.

Accountability is a mirror.
And some people would rather shatter the glass than face their own reflection.

We have all been there.

Looking someone in the eye Hoping they'll finally say,
"I see it. I did that. I hurt you."

But all we got was silence.
Deflection. (DARVO)
A performance of peace, with no repair.

Taking accountability requires self-awareness 
And self-awareness can be painful.
Because the moment you admit what you did, You also have to look at who you were when you did it. 

It's easier to pretend.
Easier to defend.
Easier to say, "That's just how I am," than to ask, "And what did it cost the people who trusted me?"

Accountability makes space for change.
But not everyone wants change.
Not if it challenges the story they live by.

That's why

You can't feed truth to someone who only wants comfort.
You can't force a lion to eat vegetables And you can't heal beside someone who refuses to admit they've harmed

You cannot change people.
Not unless they want to change.
Not unless they're ready to change.
They might realise, They might not. Either way, it is not your job to convince them.

And trying to carry the weight of their denial will only crush your peace.

So if you're standing there, explaining your hurt again and again pause.
Breathe.

And ask yourself:
Is this care? Or is this just emotional labour disguised as connection?

Because whether it’s someone in your life, circle, or past. You are not responsible for the cost of someone else's denial.
Your peace is not storage for their avoidance.
Your heart is not a courtroom where you must prove your pain.

What do you do?
You protect your energy.
Preserve your clarity.
You walk, not in bitterness.

But in the wisdom that says: "I don't need you to agree for me to heal."

📌 Let them tell the story however they want.
You hold the truth.
And that is enough.

Because the people who take accountability?

They become safer.
Softer.
Stronger.

And the ones who don't?

They are not your home.
Not your future.
Not your fight.

Accountability is freedom.
And those who choose it are the ones truly free.
