Azure Fundamentals certified Data Analyst working at Doo Group "Teamwork makes the dream work" - Wei Aun loves working as a team where everyone is working towards the same goals. His previous job as a process engineer allowed him to work together with other departments; from designing manufacturing processes with QA team to managing real-time manufacturing efficiency. The experience of working cross-departmental has helped him in developing his communication skills as well. With an interest in disruptive technologies, he decided to pursue a career change to the data science industry. To help facilitate the career change, he chose to pursue a masters degree in Data Science and Business Analytics with Asia Pacific University. The decision has helped him to pick up data engineering skills and cloud knowledge. Although he may be new to the industry, he is ready to pick up any possible challenges ahead. This is because he is a believer in lifelong learning and personal development. There’s a saying: “The more you know, the more you realize you don’t know”. Therefore, he loves reading books and creating new experiences, which has seen him participating in summer school in Peking University and volunteering for events like SEA Games and World Urban Forum organized by the UN- Habitat. In his free time, he loves playing racquet sports and doing financial trading.
