My role was to manage early stage client engagements and convert these into proposals by getting customers excited about the platform and demonstrate how the company’s product and services could deliver business value by addressing their use cases. 

Partnered with both Direct and Partner Sales team to deliver technical platform and product demonstrations, led customer discovery workshops and delivered a series of POVs and POCs for both SME and global enterprise clients across Consumer Goods, Corporate Real Estate and Financial Services. 

In addition to my core role, I also acted as a consultant / success manager to identify other use cases within the enterprise where the platform could be deployed to deliver further improvements and drive business value.

Worked on RFPs for product and services, of which the largest was a multimillion / multiyear contract and worked closely with Sales to support them model their sales pipeline for the EMEA region. 

Supported the Marketing team by presenting live demos at industry events and ran a ‘show and tell’ session with IDC, a leading analyst, as well as contributing to social media to develop and strengthen the company’s online presence.

Finally, worked with the Global and EMEA Lead for Client Services to deliver practice improvements and efficiencies, which help promote consistency and cut down on the time it took to deliver services to customers.

Solution Consultant / Sales Engineer

Managed a transformation programme consisting of over 20 tactical and strategic projects across Sales & Distribution, Underwriting, Pricing and Operations, which were targeted to deliver significant GWP and Cost Ratio improvements.

Managed a team of 6 Project Managers, I took a hands-on approach to understand how each project was performing, provided the team with focus and support, and when necessary made sure that risks and issues were dealt with to ensure the programme milestones were met and desired outcomes delivered.   

In addition to my programme I was asked to execute a restructuring project, which involved working closely with the COO, Head of Resource Planning, HR, Legal and Finance to close an office and relocate the roles to Swansea. This project was delivered on time and maintained service levels whilst the transition was being delivered. 

Drawing on my passion for intelligent automation, I presented a business case for deploying Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and successfully secured funding and resource to mobilise a project and set up a core RPA capability that was forecasted to deliver significant cost avoidance savings.

Accenture

As a Management Consultant in both Accenture’s UK Financial Services and Product’s divisions, I worked on a range of consulting engagements.

Projects varied from managing the roll-out of a third-party conduct strategy across 5 LOBs, preparing a discovery assessment and multi million pound business case to deploy robotic process automation, delivered a strategic review of a £30m programme benefit realisation plan, and created the outline design for an intelligent automation centre of excellence. 

Successfully promoted to Manager, I built solid relationships with Senior Clients and MDs within Accenture, expanded projects, worked on large scale business development proposals to secure new business, and supported practice development activities.

Whilst at Accenture I also trained as a Mental Health Ally, ran a programme to improve the experienced hire onboarding process, was a Career counsellor to a number of consultants, and ran Accenture’s Financial Services Wine Club for a period.

Advised the Executive Committee and Heads of Business on environmental and sustainability matters to ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements, as well as making sure the company was competitively positioned against its competition.  

Responsible for planning the internal audit plan, which delivered over 150 internal audits and successfully retained 9 ISO14001 certification audits each year. In addition, carried out the aggregation and analysis of 9 LOBs environmental performance reports, which formed part of the parent company’s external reporting.

Tasked with building and working with key internal and external stakeholders to secure their buy-in to run a series of initiatives like enhanced training and trialling new technology, as well as supporting the business prepare for tender submissions and interviews

Acted as Head of Environment on two separate occasions to cover maternity leave and offered the full-time position prior to leaving. This involved business planning, resourcing, budgeting and managing a small team.

Environment & Sustainability Manager

Mace Group

Advised both internal and external clients on environmental and sustainability matters related to delivering large scale construction projects. Carried out onsite compliance audits and supported the business retain its ISO14001 certification. Delivered sustainability training at Mace’s Business school for suppliers, consistently achieving the required feedback score. Prepared environmental sections of tender returns, as well as presented proposals to clients as part of the procurement process. Was successful in winning a sustainability award for a Mace LOB.

Graduate Trainee Quantity Surveyor tasked with preparing feasibility studies, detailed cost plans and carrying out monthly valuation reports for major new build and refurbishment construction projects. Supported the drafting of contracts, analysis of contractor tender returns and creating build cost benchmark reports. Acted as a subject matter expert on sustainability assessments and the commercial impact of energy efficiency and renewable technologies.
