During my 25 years working at DXC Technologies (Prev. CSC), I helped to develop a comprehensive re-insurance administration system which became the leading solution for re-insurance across the globe. Prior to DXC I co-founded a tourism company on Lake Titicaca. We used our hovercrafts to transfer tourists between Bolivia and Peru. I also served as a ship captain/flight Engineer. Following this first entrepreneurial venture I embarked on several other projects such as importing Yamaha motorcycles and motorcycle apparels, and serving as the President of the Motorcycle Association, and managing a chain of restaurants in California and Nevada. Since I was married to a Swiss, I ended up moving to Switzerland, seeking new adventures. Due to my lack of German I started working at a post-office, loading and unloading trains and later as a lifeguard in a Public Indor Pool complex. I finally got the opportunity to join a re-insurance company and thoroughly enjoyed my work as an Underwriter. This led me to study insurance and re-insurance and ultimately pathed the way for my career as a business development executive at DXC. At DXC I started as an consultant, project manager and worked my way up to the executive level, successfully acquiring more than 100 clients all over the world and receiving multiple sales awards. In May 2021 I officially retired. Today, I advise Re-Insurance companies as an independent consultant in areas such as business development and personal branding.
