📌 Implemented a successful transition to a paperless (fully digitised) system by migrating 6,000+ files and folders utilising a Microsoft E5 Enterprise subscription, resulting in a 80% reduction in paper usage within this non-governmental organisation (NGO).

📌 Established Azure Active Directory for Identity and Access Management (IAM) of OneDrive accounts, creating 25 different roles for employees to access files securely and effectively manage permissions.

📌 Configured Microsoft Teams and SharePoint sites for seamless collaboration between 6 departments, enabling streamlined communication and sharing of files across various roles within the organisation.

📌 Worked within a multinational cross-functional squad, Structural Squad 2, made up of squad members from 6 different countries (India, Pakistan, United States, Ghana, Canada), utilising Google Docs, Microsoft Teams and OneDrive to collaborate and receive assignments.

📌 Researched and created technical documentation with a partner, documenting 50+ new electronic measurement/analysis equipment weekly from Alibaba using Google Sheets and Docs, under the Materials, Metallurgy, and Chromatography category,  contributing to 40% of the company’s daily product listing update in that category on the GAO Tek retail website.

📌 Achieved 20% more output than other groups in Structural Squad 2 by consistently meeting deadlines and exceeding productivity goals while researching and documenting new products.

Tech Support - Virtual Intern

Through the course of this internship, I:

📌 Executed troubleshooting protocols for 50+ devices including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers, resolving technical issues with a 95% success rate and reducing downtime by 30%.

📌 Implemented a comprehensive inventory management system for computer devices, resulting in a 20% decrease in maintenance costs and a 15% increase in device uptime.

📌 Spearheaded the company’s successful digitisation project, migrating 1,000+ files to Google Drive, leading to a 70% improvement in document access times, enhancing seamless collaboration within the company’s departments.

re:Invent was filled with some of the most AWSome launches. 🔥

But, after watching Matt’s keynote… then Swami’s…

I honestly thought:

“Yep. We’re cooked.” 😂🥲

New agents.
Reinforcement-Learning-as-a-Service.
AWS Transform.
That DevOps agent that basically writes infra for you. 😭🥵

Even with all the air-con in the hall…
it sure got really HOT during those announcements. 😂

And for a moment, I caught myself asking:

“What’s even the point of learning AWS when AI can just… 𝘥𝘰 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨?”

But here’s the twist:

There has NEVER been a better time to learn AWS.

AI is powerful, but not reliable enough to run your systems without you.

Not yet!

Because AI still:

* Hallucinates (a lot 😭)
* Breaks security assumptions
* Struggles in real production environments
* Needs guardrails, context, and human architecture

And that’s where YOU come in.

In the age of agents, AWS learners need 7 core skills:

(If you master these, AI becomes your multiplier, not your replacement.)

✅ Metalearning:
How fast you can learn new things in a shifting landscape.

✅ The Fundamentals:
Computers, networks, how the internet actually works.

✅ Systems Thinking:
How all components interact to deliver a service.

✅ Problem Solving:
Breaking ambiguity into solvable steps.

✅ Security:
Least privilege, RBAC, IAM logic. 
These are still non-negotiable.

✅ Software & System Design:
Architecting reliable systems with clear tradeoffs.

✅ Communication (the most important):
If you can’t articulate intent, AI can’t help you.
Every agent still has one thing in common:

𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐬!

AI isn’t here to replace engineers.
It’s here to replace engineers who skip the fundamentals.

So keep building.
Keep learning.
And don’t panic. Today is not the day AI takes your job. 😅
