I was responsible for the introduction and distribution of new and/or pertinent lines as per business requirements in the independent and symbol group channel.  Whilst either providing rep relief or being deployed tactically I was the first point of contact between imperial tobacco and it’s Customers, influencing them on their range, availability and pricing policy whereby their incumbent Rep were absent 

Key responsibilities include:

•	Ensuring 100% market clear out of non compliant EUTPD stock worth circa £5m
•	Identifying and communicating merchandising opportunities to the trade to help ensure the best possible space allocation and visibility of Imperial brands on shelf. 
•	Identifying new business opportunities for the business and trade. 
•	Driving customer advocacy for our assets through educating retailers on our brands and across the whole category using the latest technology, data and insight.

I was  solely responsible for the development and growth of all categories within a chain of 3 franchise convenience stores with a £2.6m turnover. My work included:
•Maintaining and communicating to team members a clear strategy for individual store stock buying, supported by a well articulated buying plan to ensure adequate stock control.
•Ad hoc and monthly reporting on progress against plans, adherence to budgets and the ability to adjust and revise buying strategy according to store objectives.
•Responsible for weekly expenditure of :£15000 in Tobacco and sundries, £12000 in Beers, wines & spirits, £2000 in chilled/ ambient,£1000 in stationery,£3000 in £3500 in C.T.N and £3000 in Grocery .
•Ensuring that purchased products were competitively priced while margins were kept in-line with budgets and business requirements
