Worked in a fast paced team environment consisting of six software engineers, executive management, various line managers, and other end-users. Worked closely with management to implement changes in business critical legacy VB6 membership management and travel booking system. Independently worked on a credit card processing system using C# and SQL CLR. Integrated credit card processing software into VB6 and modern ASP .Net web applications. 

Managed clustered SQL Server databases using TSQL. Designed, developed, and coded travel protection insurance system and custom logging using C#, JSON, SQL Server, Berkshire Hathaway Insurance RESTful API’s, and SQL CLR. Created SSRS reporting system and developed billing reconciliation software for all issued travel protection policies totaling 50k or more per month. Modified in-house Windows Forms mass mailer client to interact with Mail Chimp. 

Developed Web Hooks for Mail Chimp Integration using Web API 2. Created SMTP email validation software to prevent black-listing of IP’s using a database of over 100k members email addresses. Maintained, managed, and deployed multiple ASP .Net websites using C# and Java Script. Performed integrations and pricing calculations using dimensional weights within a Windows Form based application for multiple outside vendors for e-commerce related sales using EDI 4010 and C#. 

Worked with T-HUB and Channel Advisor to seamlessly integrate product sales onto multiple e-commerce marketplaces such as Sears, Amazon, eBay, Jet, and others. Independently conceived, funded, and established a software development and consulting firm. Consulted with clients in Utah, Texas, Colorado, Montana, and Kansas on various I.T. related projects. Used software engineering expertise to re-factor and re-design DVD Rental Kiosk software using C#, VB .NET, MS Access, SQL Server, and SQL. 

Created software licensing algorithms and implemented automatic title synchronization of movies for use in the DVD rental kiosk. Sold kiosk software and hardware to clients throughout the U.S. Provided remote PC monitoring services to clients across the U.S. On call as needed.

Acted as primary coder while working with senior developers to create a new ASP .Net e-commerce website for Superior Signals Inc. Created shopping cart, order pipeline, SQL Server 2005 database back-end, started credit card processing routines, developed web services, and assisted with the creation of software architecture as it pertained to the integration into SMH’s IRMN (Information Resource Management Network). 

Additional duties included the development of a database archiving process, creation of an image processing program for Tiff files, and maintenance on SMH’s IRMN (Information Resource Management Network) website and database backend.

Performed all IT related functions for the sales and marketing team per the direction of the sales department. Utilized SQL Server and Visual Basic .Net to create canned reports. Regularly developed ad-hoc TSQL scripts and SQL queries to satisfy the needs of the team. Evaluated Microsoft Dynamics CRM
package to determine if it would streamline the sales and marketing pipeline.

Developed sequence diagrams, class diagrams, use case diagrams, and a relational data model for an Amazon affiliate web store per the requirements of the client. 

Utilized the Amazon ECS web services framework, MS SQL 2005, VB .NET, and ASP .Net technologies in order to implement and conduct unit testing on the affiliate store. The software allows the Amazon affiliate to sell merchandise from every Amazon category via an easy to use control panel.

The benefit of the system is that merchandise does not have to be held in inventory in order to sell product or earn a commission. Used customer requirements to create sequence diagrams, activity diagrams, class diagrams, and a relational data model for the beta version of an
ASP .NET order entry and fulfillment system. 

Implemented the beta design using VB .NET and MS SQL 2005. The beta version underwent thorough unit testing and has been made live for the lean manufacturing company, Folda-Door, in Southern California. 

Features of the system include the ability to quote prices to dealers and potential dealers, a shopping cart, and account management functionality. The fulfillment portion of the system will take saved quotes, the associated calculations, and feed them into the manufacturing process.

The "Dam" Store

Advanced the design of a mini-storage management software package by utilizing the Unified Process and associated UML modeling techniques.  Implemented the design and associated relational data model with Visual Basic 6.0 and Microsoft Access. The software consists of a billing mechanism, reporting system, and a customer management module.

Additional activities included:
The analysis of business domains and requirement gathering Creating several proposals for small businesses that outlined benefits, processes, procedures, responsibilities, R.O.I., and total operational cost of the proposed software systems.
