Scope
Full End-to-end Supply Chain with 9 factories around the world. Role encompassed Strategy, Manufacturing, Co-Manufacturing, Manufacturing Licensing, Procurement, Quality, HSSE, M&A, S&OP, Lean & Operational Excellence, Local Relations/strategic alliances, and Logistics.

Chief Operations and Supply Officer

-	Restructuring the operations and supply organization, optimizing manpower, reducing span of controls, empowering delegation, and improving performance
-	Provided support in acquisition of $170m distribution networks in most promising markets in line with the company's strategy to enhance its competitiveness, increase profits and increase market share through faster response to market needs and requirements.
-	Led all operational and supply chain due diligence in three major acquisitions with multi-hundred $ millions of value.
-	Built full Business Continuity Plans- Zero stoppage during Corona-. Zero out of stock situations for all top 10 SKUs around the world
-	Enabled and engaged, 50+ nationalities diversified and inclusive workforce around the world including split by gender, by employment category, job creation, new graduates etc.… with high equality.  
-	Designed & built a modern state of art, high technology, innovative management 20000 sqft offices in Dubai with inspiring decorations, comfortable working, entertainments, break, wellbeing spaces recognizing the impact of workspace on the employee’s well-being, and the success of the business,

Vice President Operations & Supply Chain

-	Led transformation of supply, operational performance, and productivity, deploying global S&OP delivering annual 5% savings, and releasing 30% from working capital.
-	Led the initiation of a full-integrated end-to-end process, helping the transformation to a consumer centric company.
-	Built the global S&OP function connecting strategy with execution on the ground. Expanded the S&OP demand planning process to incorporate a higher number of forecasted SKUs (around + 10000 SKUs) to enhance the overall forecasting and supply/demand planning process.
-	Co-led to complete the integration of the distribution entities and factories in terms of laying down the set of policies, procedures and processes for main functions and alignment of decision-making matrix.

-	Designed & built the first state of art green warehouse in Ajman/UAE; with storage capacity of 13,000 pallet position. 
-	Established & implemented many global waste/water/air/noise/ management and disposal policies, i.e., Installation of advanced -odor systems and water refineries in all its manufacturing plants to manage.
-	Designed & built UAE’s best labor accommodation with sports facilities, full catering service, and many entertainments and wellbeing facilities. 
-	Led global investment in our communities such as charitable giving, donations, and volunteering work.

Responsible for the guidance, assistance, training of a team of procurement staff to ensure the fair, efficient procurement of goods and services for Tobacco, Raw materials, and Spare parts in the light of cost, quality, and service.

•	Established purchasing procedures and best practices. 
•	Helped in reducing the company’s risk by carefully analyzing hundreds of agreements and developing appropriate controls
•	Lead the purchasing unit to score the lowest risk gap in the company after an audit done by Grant Thornton ( 2015 Vault’s world 5th  top accounting firm for audit and assurance) 
•	Increased supplier’s portfolio by 30% by researching, identifying, and negotiating with suppliers worldwide.

Collecting, classifying, and analyzing production information in order to prepare analytical comparative reports about production volumes, efficiency, waste, and downtimes.
