As a digital nomad traveling the world for the last 4+ years and a spiritual yogi entrepreneur, I know what it takes to live an unconventional life that yields fulfillment, yet is not always the easiest path. 

After years in the corporate tech space, I did a somatic breathwork session that changed my life, and my intuition gave me no other choice but to leave (yes i took the jump without knowing what was next) 😅

In that moment I had two options 

1) stop using LinkedIn until I had “a new job/title” 
2) lean into posting authentically and vulnerability 

I chose option 2 and that changed my life 

I've been sharing content on LinkedIn that is fully authentically me and not just a “corporate guise” to fit into this rigid masculine stereotypical tiny box with one title only. 

By embracing my soul-led, multi-dimensional self, I’ve landed dream opportunities by building my personal brand and have attracted aligned connections that come *inbound* 

And I’m on a movement (the ripple effect🌀) - to show other soul-led conscious leaders that they can too benefit from the power of building your personal brand on LinkedIn.

Travel has a way of shaking you to your core.

It strips away old layers and expands your soul in ways nothing else can. 

After 4+ years as a digital nomad, I’ve come to see travel not just as visiting places…

but as a powerful awakening- a reminder of why we’re here and how deeply connected we all are. 

being in a brand new country like Panama, Portugal, Bulgaria where I thought i’d feel lost …

instead I developed a greater awareness of why we are really here 

🤍The interconnectedness of us all.

🤍To experience. To enjoy. To feel pleasure. 

🤍To be. To fully embrace the human experience. 

I’m reminded how travel, and more broadly, any form of stepping outside our usual boundaries, can transform us.

You don’t need to cross continents to experience this. 

It might be a walk in an unfamiliar park, a drive down a road you’ve never taken, or tasting a new cuisine. 

These small shifts challenge the limits of our worldviews.

I often see the same theme for people: 

👉We tend to see ourselves as far smaller and less capable than we truly are. 

And a big reason for this is the small worlds we confine ourselves to (our routines, our circles, our conditioned beliefs) 🔁

Like a hamster in a cage unaware of the vast world beyond…

we get trapped in familiar patterns, convinced there’s no more than what’s right in front of us 🐹🎡

This mindset keeps us stuck, turning genuine dreams + desires into “impossible” wishes and limiting our sense of potential.

The hardest part? 

This smallness can spread. 

Those trapped in it often unintentionally (or sometimes intentionally) discourage others from reaching beyond. 

It’s a cycle that keeps entire communities stagnant and unaware of what’s out there. 

But every time you try something new, meet someone different, or explore an unknown path, you break free… even just for a moment. 🕊️ 

You get a glimpse of something bigger than yourself. 🌍

You unlock a deeper awareness and potential waiting to be claimed.

So today, I challenge you: 

-Go bigger.
-Take that step outside your comfort zone. -Try the new thing. 
-Connect with someone different. 
-Walk a new path.

You don’t need to book a flight to India or Bali…. ✈️

You may just need to say hi to a stranger or take a new route on your daily walk. 🚶‍♀️

It might seem small, but it can change everything.

People don’t absorb what you say nearly as much as what they see you embody.

The message lands deeper when it’s lived, not preached.

Be the change. 

Live the demonstration. 

That’s how people really learn.

No resumes. No elevator pitches. No masks. 

No squeezing ourselves into one tiny box. 

Not only identifying with our titles.

Just people showing up exactly as they are... and creating something unforgettable together. 

Leaning into connection + oneness + the true essence of our authentic selves. 

Soon, many visionary leaders will take off their masks and head to Burning Man Project.

So it felt fitting to reflect on this. 

What if LinkedIn were more like Burning Man.... 

That’s why I’m obsessed with creating the ripple effect: helping soul-led leaders ditch the “shoulds” of LinkedIn and build a personal brand in their authentic voice 🌀

Burning Man Project's mission is to extend its culture into the world. 

Mine is to bring your culture... your soul-led leadership, into your work (and yes even on LinkedIn 😉)  

Because we shouldn't wait for one week a year to be our true authentic selves. 

It should be in our everyday lives!!!

Curious, who is going to Burning Man??? 🔥

What will be your gift to the desert? 🙏

How will you gift it to the “default world” when you return? 🌏

I used to have no freaking idea what I wanted to be when I grew up 

Went into college “undecided” 

And tried everything and swore I figured it out from process of elimination 

And ultimately I created the role I am doing now 

Building the ripple effect 

And I have this theory 

Entrepreneurs + creators have no idea what they want to be when they grew up 

Because it simply does not exist yet 

Of course we don’t know….

Future us will create it. 

I wish I could send this to every teenager or 20 something year old staying up late trying to 
“pick a major”
 “pick a career” 
“pick the right path” 

It’s ACTUALLY A GOOD THING to not know your 5 year, 10 year plan heck even your 1 year plan. 

You likely are going to create and build your “dream path” yourself. 

And then change the world.

Here’s the thing about life…

people always have something to say 

If you only work a 9–5, you’re not dreaming big enough.
If you start your own business, you’re living in a fantasy world. 🦄

If you stay in your hometown, you need to get out and explore.
If you’re a full-time traveler or digital nomad, you’re running away from reality. 🎒

If you work for money, you’re materialistic.
If you work for passion, you’re unrealistic. 💸

If you take time for yourself, you’re selfish.
If you always put others first, you’re neglecting your needs.🚶‍♀️

If you’re always busy, you’re overworking.
If you have too much free time, you’re not productive. 💻

If you’re successful, they say you got lucky.
If you’re struggling, they say you didn’t try hard enough. 🪄

You’re damned if you do.
You’re damned if you don’t. 

Best thing you can do?

Find out who you are.
Listen to your intuition.
Be okay to zig when others zag.

At the end of the day…

It’s your journey.

And the only person who needs to understand it… is you.

3 days in a nursing home taught me more about life than 3 months of work.

I stayed with my grandma (94!) and her friends, and at first my mind went to:

“I’ll be less productive with work”
“What if a client needs me?”
“I won’t be as active on LinkedIn”

Then it hit me… THIS is the point of solopreneurship.

✨Not having to ask permission.
✨Not submitting PTO requests.
✨Being able to step away and spend real, quality time.

And while I always learn from my grandma, this time I learned from the others there too:

🌈We need more joy (especially in these spaces)
🌍 Many miss traveling
🥾 They miss the little things (freedom, hiking, nature, moving their bodies)
👂 Most just want someone to ask questions and really listen.

Here’s what stood out to me most:
👉These people lived their lives. They traveled, they explored, they experienced.

But in today’s age, so many of us just prepare to live.
👉We grind, we save, we plan… and forget to actually enjoy what’s right in front of us.

One day, the things we take for granted (our health, mobility, freedom… won’t be there)  

➡️ We’re great at preparing to live… but not so great at actually living.

I left with a full heart, and a renewed motivation to live life to the fullest. 

Let this be your sign: 
-visit your grandparents
-spread joy
-remember that learning happens beyond “work hours”
-don’t just prepare… LIVE.

A place where self-expression often gets filtered through fear.

I coach people on LinkedIn but what I really do is hold space🪞

I hold the energy behind the words. 

The hesitations. The resistance. The “is it safe to say this here?”

And when that gets held with care, with presence, without judgment, with encouragement… something powerful happens.

Your real voice comes forward. 🗣️🗣️🗣️

Not the one shaped by what’s trending.

But the one shaped by your lived experience, your truth, your inner knowing.

Because LinkedIn can feel like a place where we need to sound smart, buttoned-up, “professional”… 👔

But what if it became a space where you could actually be you? 🦄

You don’t need to force yourself into a box or strategy that doesn’t fit. 📦

You just need to feel safe enough to show up as you are.

That’s the space I hold.
That’s the energy I bring.
That’s the magic of this work.

It’s a way to practice zigging when others zag.

Since stepping away from the streets of Boston and no longer seeing what the “new go-to outfit” is…

i’ve felt so much more free to wear what I actually want.

Who knew being so “out of the loop” that you don’t even know what’s trending could feel SO GOOD?

Owning your own unique style and making it work because of your confidence and energy is a form of getting to know yourself deeper. 

You begin to trust that what you wear WORKS despite anyone's opinions. 

So let this be your sign to own your style and figure out what you feel good wearing! 

Try things that feel different, bold, or even “out there.” 

Notice how it makes you feel. 

Own it. Trust it. 

Your wardrobe can teach you about yourself if you let it.

for me i loveeeee rings (i have one on every finger from a different country), hats, oversized tshirts instead of dresses and flowy clothes! 👒👘

and love to be barefoot, or if I have to wear shoes then im in a simple slide🦶🕊️

They wait until they feel “qualified.”

Creation isn’t truly ours.

We are here to listen, to tune in, and to be brave enough to bring what comes through us into the world.

That’s the path I’m on

Tuning in, choosing with intention, and building something bigger than myself.

Here’s what eating shrooms in the desert taught me about B2B sales

Burning Man is just a bunch of people who are very active on LinkedIn

👆we laugh at these, but here is why they resonate…. 

And a few weeks ago I posted about Burning Man Project and it went viral … why? 

Because when people come back from experiences like Burning Man, retreats, or even just a walk in nature

And they realize there is a disconnect from their true self and what they share 

For so long, LinkedIn was a place of polished corporate jargon.

But that’s changing… 

the ripple effect movement is bringing more soul-led content to LinkedIn  

I’m on a mission to empower individuals to  share more authentic, raw, expressive content. 

& when one person shares authentically, it gives someone else permission to do the same. 

That’s how the ripple becomes a wave.

Just like…

If you want to build an authentic personal brand, you first have to discover what “authentic” even means to you.

We hear the word authentic thrown around a lot.

And I support people in creating authentic personal brands 

But what does it really mean?

Before I ever thought about building a personal brand, I had to meet myself—my real self.

Because how can you be authentic if you don’t know who you truly are?

For me, three things led me to discover my authentic self 

(which i had to do before i created an authentic brand) 

1️⃣ Solitude
2️⃣ Meditation
3️⃣ Journaling

These 3 things paired together changed my life. 

And I recognize not everyone on here even knows their authentic self to be able to build a personal brand around that 

Which is why I am beginning to build out tools I wish I had on my journey (like helping younger Paige🫂) 

(aka you reading this, maybe)
