So many of us are so scared of failure that we fail to even try 

we would rather stay where we are (even if we are knowingly miserable) 

than take a risk and try something else (that could bring joy or at least change) 

we aren’t used to this feeling of risk 

and even I was so used to instant gratification and this feeling of “safety” 

a promotion felt really nice 
a raise felt really nice 
a compliment from my boss felt really nice 
a big title felt really nice 
a fixed salary and PTO felt really nice 
my comfort zone felt safe 

risk felt scary and like I would be “falling” for a moment 

before I could fly 

I picture a bird in the sky as they go up and down 

they have to fall for a few moments before they can fly 

that’s how risks work 

it’s not instant gratification

but hey it’s a whole lot better than staying where you are 

if where you are in a known unhappiness 

and the unknown is either also that or even better 

might as well take that risk!

🪂skydiving in Australia 
🌴zip lining in Costa Rica 
🥾hiking three peaks in Hawaii 
👋leaving my corporate job 
🚀launching my business 
✍️+ posting on consistently on LinkedIn 

a little secret…..

the risk is worth it! 

I promise you… maybe not at first 

but it’s the right path if you have that instinct 

this is your sign to take that risk 

and let yourself fall for a minute

i used to think "rich" meant

⌚️wearing a rolex watch
🚙driving a fancy range rover 
💼having a big corporate title 
🏠living in a big house
🥳being liked by everyone 

i now think "rich" means 

⏱not needing to know the time 
🚶‍♀️being able to walk everywhere 
🫂being a kind human 
🌏having location freedom 
☮️feeling at peace within myself

its funny how when we unlearn things. 

we come back to who we truly are. 

and what actually matters

Today, I convinced two creators with huge followings on Instagram, TikTok + YouTube to start building their personal brands on LinkedIn... and the transformation was instant. 

they asked what i did and i shared about the ripple effect and that i coach soul-led leaders to build their personal brands authentically on LinkedIn... 

like sharing more about WHO they are, not just WHAT they do. 

they both said what i almost always hear from creatives / folks doing things differently in this world... 

"oh i have not been on Linkedin in years since back when i was in corporate"

"isn't LinkedIn only for applying to jobs or posting about promotions???"  

after sharing my mission and the ways i am changing the nature of this platform and empowering humans to post authentically -- everything shifted for them.

they right away understood the power + need to get on LinkedIn. 

one chat was at Clifton beach in Cape Town after a morning breathwork + qi gong session 🏝

one chat was at a cafe in Cape Town over an espresso and avocado toast sitting in the sun ☕️

my point? 

1) LINKEDIN IS POWERFUL AND I CAN QUICKLY CONVINCE YOU THE VALUE OF STARTING TO POST, even if you are not in corporate 
2) You don't need to be in a cubicle in NYC to make connections + do your job 

Make your life's mission and work weave into your lifestyle so you can impact people even when you are not on your laptop working. 

I can't wait to watch both of these creators thrive on LinkedIn now that they understand the endless potential and power!!!!

I wanted to test the quote “It's easy to spot a yellow car when you're thinking of a yellow car” 

I’ve heard and read this saying many times 

It makes sense… but thought I’d test it 

Given love is one of the highest frequencies I set an intention to look for love in my walk and day ahead 

Within 10 min I saw 5 hearts 

As well as various expressions of love 

But the hearts proved something 

Have an intention of what you are looking for 

And make it positive 

Because I tested it and it’s true…

It's easy to spot the positives in your life when you're thinking about the positives

It's easy to spot opportunity when you're thinking of opportunities

Be careful what is on your mind - you may just be calling that into your life. 

What are you on the look out to find this week? Maybe it’s love ❤️

They say no one is coming to save you but I think many people have saved me 

even if they didn’t intend to

-that stranger that smiled at me when I walked by🙂

-the lyrics of a song played just at the right time🎵

-words from the author of the book I found when I needed it the most📖

-the person who let me go ahead of them in traffic🚦

-the barista who threw that extra shot of espresso in my coffee ☕️

-the person who held the door for me when I wasn’t expecting it 🚪

-the yoga instructor who gave me permission to just be the whole class🧘‍♀️
 
We all have the ability to save each other. 

Connection is the cure. 🫂

We all wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for women…. 

that very reason itself is why we should celebrate but especially on international womens day and month!!!! 

sharing my reflections as a woman on this earth:

From my first few companies I worked at to owning my own business i have ✨with intention✨ been around powerhouses of women. 

Many bold, courageous, confident, and successful women. 

I’ve had female leaders all across different companies, careers and industries. 

heck my job during college was at Bumble being led by the youngest female ceo to go public 🐝👑 

(ive always been VERY particular about who I chose to lead me and what my environment looks and feels like) 

And now, i serve with intention, soul-led female leaders in the ripple effect coaching cohort I run. 

(the most rewarding work to serve + lead women to embrace all of who they are and lean into their femininity)  

It is important to me to create a safe intentional space for females to not only survive but THRIVE 🌀🌀🌀🌀

but also felt called to say — as we push to be equal and gain more rights and power as women🚀

let us not forget our feminine energy and soft side. ☯️

Because being beautiful, balanced, divine and regulated women I argue is even more important …🕊️

For ourselves and for the world. 

And collective consciousness.
