I'm the co-creator of STEAMTeam 5, and I'm passionate about normalizing girls in STEM/STEAM fields.

STEAMTeam 5 is a children’s adventure book series designed to encourage young children to become leaders in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) fields.

•  Working with key stakeholders to align on marketing measurement goals and KPIs;

•  Designing the marketing tech stack, data integration, and system requirements needed to support performance measurement; and

•  Leading a cross-functional team to implement omnichannel measurement to inform prioritization for customer segments and to optimize marketing mix investments.

My role involves analyzing customer data to identify growth opportunities (and targets) for the MPD business and to quantify the impact of marketing strategy, programs and activities on the business.

I was responsible for:

  •  Building the Customer Insights Analytics function within MPD Analytics; 

  •  Developing and applying new models to customer data in order to identify trends that could impact customer revenue, portfolio growth opportunities, share of wallet, and medical device adoption;

  •   Identifying targets for new medical products (potential revenue of $10M+ per new device/year) and new medical device indications (which represents $2M-$5M in market expansion per device/year);

   •  Identifying cross-portfolio growth opportunities and targets to support marketing & sales initiatives;

  •  Capturing and reporting key customer/market insights directly to Global Sales & Marketing leaders within the Medical Products Division, as well as the SVP of MPD, Global Sales and Marketing and Global Analytics

Monsoon was a marketing strategy consulting firm that specialized in helping businesses grow through proactive, data-informed decision-making. As a consultant, I was hired by and reported directly to managing directors and CEOs and was responsible for researching our clients’ competitive landscape and conducting, analyzing, and interpreting market research and customer behavioral data to refine revenue models and develop multi-channel, integrated marketing strategies. My role involved evaluating business/marketing strategies, identifying opportunities for growth, creating marketing budgets, and defining key performance indicators (KPIs) for ongoing measurement.

I also assisted clients with building marketing teams to scale their business, served as an advisor to tech startups, and assisted investors with deal sourcing & due diligence.

Examples of Demonstrated Impact on Businesses:

•	Designed/deployed product demand tests to assess current market share and forecast national sales growth potential for a regional product. Results: An acquisition offer from a Private Equity firm. 

•	Employed multivariate testing techniques to measure buyer intent, define feature requirements, and establish optimal pricing for a new consumer product. Results: $600K in revenue w/in 60 days of launch. 

•	Through analysis of data from multiple sources, I identified flawed assumptions (misinterpretation of data) that were posing a financial risk to the organization. I helped redefine the target audience, messaging, and price. Results: Online channel revenue doubled YoY.

•	Researched customer behavior insights to inform plan to re-position the organization and update marketing strategy. Results: 50% decrease in cost per new sales lead.  

•	Conducted market research, performed customer segmentation, developed new messaging, then deployed ABM (account-based marketing) strategy to decrease customer acquisition costs. Results: Increased conversions by 60% while maintaining current budget.
