Pamela Prasetya's Linkedin Analytics

Growing up, I always loved to communicate, talk, and share new ideas. From scribbling on my parent's furniture with Sharpies (luckily, I don't do that anymore!), to pretending to speak to the (imaginary) crowd in front of the TV, to writing drafts of book ideas, creativity, and passion were at the forefront of what I love to do! I even studied abroad in South Korea for a semester, and learned so much about various cultures, traditions, ways of thinking, design, and language -- and how that impacts communication with people from all parts of the world. I've done research, I even did publishing where I learned how to make prototypes for magazines and copyedit text! I have a background in research from my time studying Sociology in my undergrad at UofT, and now I'm pursuing User Experience Design at Humber College. When I think of design, aside from wanting designs to look clean, minimalistic, and pretty, I also constantly think about how the user feels at first glance, seeing and using my design. As someone who grew up constantly having to learn differently and adopting new strategies, I want to be able to make sure my designs have accessibility in mind -- because everyone can benefit from accessibility. I love seeing the things I make come to life when it comes to colours, shapes, motion prototyping, or even seeing my articles get published in a newspaper! When I'm not designing websites and mobile applications, I'm constantly designing in other mediums such as crafts like creating a system that works for me through the bullet journal method or designing new creations via crochet. And sometimes you can find me creating content on Twitch, where I love to create and foster a community through gaming and sharing memories.
