My Story: My parents migrated from India to the U.S. in 1980. They went from having nothing to becoming multi-millionaires and then eventually lost everything and went bankrupt. This led our family to seeking new business opportunities in post-communist Bulgaria. All of this instability, change and uncertainty drove me to a more inward journey where I ended up living as a monk for 15 years in New York City. I left the monastic life in 2014 and have been speaking in organizations and conferences globally.
