My daughter turns 1 next month.

That feels… impossible.

When I look at her, I don’t just see who she is today—I see the entire future she might step into.

My own career has been anything but the 9-5 cubicle.

I’ve been lucky to build my own path—filled with risk, freedom, and adventure.

But for her, I hope it goes even further.

I hope she doesn’t just escape the treadmill of working to pay the bills month after month…

Everyone’s talking about the OpenAI x Shopify news today.

Here’s the simple version:

👉 You can now buy products directly inside ChatGPT. No links. No redirects. Just… checkout.

My take? This is the first real shot fired in agentic commerce.

It’s not about Shopify vs Etsy vs Amazon.
It’s about who controls discovery.

If ChatGPT becomes the place people find and buy—brands won’t just optimize for SEO or ads anymore. 

They’ll optimize for conversations.

This shift could be massive.

Game-changer… or hype cycle?

Maybe AI isn’t going to replace us… maybe it’s going to free us.

We’re all worried about AI taking our jobs, hollowing out industries, and making humans “less valuable.”

But what if the opposite happens?

What if AI automates so much of the grinding, repetitive, soul-sucking work that we finally get to live more like our ancestors?

Not in a caveman sense.

But in a primitive human sense:
	•	Eating well.
	•	Spending real time with loved ones.
	•	Exploring creative passions without worrying about paying rent.

For most of human history, our lives were simple. Community, food, art, exploration. 

Then industrialization and capitalism cranked up the machine and pushed us into decades of nonstop productivity.

Maybe AI is the thing that helps us swing the pendulum back.

Where “work” becomes less about survival and more about expression, love and passion. 

I don’t think we’re heading for a dystopia.

I think we might just be heading for the most human chapter in history.

This one simple dialy habit will make you happier and more successful. 

And you can do it anytime of day that you want

It doesn’t cost anything 

And most people don’t do it.

Block off 1 hr per day…

Go for a walk 

And call people you haven’t talked to in a while. 

Say “hey ____, we haven’t chatted in a while I just wanted to check in and see how you are doing” 

Have a real convo. 

Catch up. 

Three things will happen:

1. You will get more steps in each day 

2. You’ll catch up with old friends and people from your life 

3. New opportunities will emerge 

Do it for a week and you’ll be on a roll.

Do it for 6 months and you’ll have more opportunities than you know what to do with.
