Dear Connects, My name is Parth Sharma founder and CEO of Thebabybo, please allow me to introduce myself. I have completed my bachelors in computer engineering from GTU (Gujarat Technological University) and post-graduation from IBS Mumbai as majors in marketing. My journey into start-up began at a very early age when I was 19, my team and I started working on Shodho-Women Empowerment and Employment with the aim to provide a livelihood to the women, who were the sole earners of the family by helping them to find a right place to work. During the initial days of our start-up, we pitched our idea in different competitions such as Mobile India Hackathon, Digital India Hackathon and even in IIM-Ahmedabad. Where we got recognition and breakthrough to build for society. Post-Shodho, I worked on my own fashion commerce space, for students and new-age fashion designers, a platform to showcase their unique products, where all the products were totally exclusive as they were made on receiving the order. USP of which was a trial using augmented reality. Through this, I got the opportunity to work with different fashion designers from Lakme Fashion Week such as Mr Ajay Kumar and his team. As a famous quote says, either we succeed or we learn, I treasured all my learnings from the past to start the Journey of Thebabybo in the year 2019. where the idea of Thebabybo came into mind, we researched about the baby care industry for the parents and parents to be, which belong to the millennial and Gen-Z. This was the time of the beginning of the pandemic, we pivoted our subscription box model, A box of happiness bundle of joy, providing all the essentials in a pack. A product that is extremely appreciated and admired. As change is the only constant, every day my team and I work upon new solutions which we can bring for parents and parents to be.
